... and don't forget the B17 and its crew that were stranded there during the Second World War. NASA sent the Space Shuttle on a rescue mission in the early 90s. Unfortunately, they hadn't quite made it to the atmosphere when the tow-rope broke, and the B17 drifted off and was lost forever.
