your very good ladies, im useless at quotes but it is nice to see the thread moving there are so few of us now
someone has been round today to see if i will cross stich a hassock, ive done about 15 stitches, and its tough, the canvas isnt like aida it dosnt bend and as its wool its so thick it dosnt look neat, ive a feeling it will drive me mad
I might be down cos I'm missing my dog, Josie might be down cos shes missing her tor nail...........John

Sue I love cross stitching I was quarter way through a large print and then because my eyes started getting bad I gave up. I so want to do some more but can't see the canvas and not able to thread the needle. One day I hope.

Back again, nephew called in with his cousin, had me turning jeans into shorts

if you look in a embroidery book you can get a magnifying thing that hangs round your neck is a4 size and you cam then sew

Sue I've got one of those but my eyesight is so bad I still can't see. I have trouble typing and pressing wrong keys have to keep correcting myself. I have the print on lappy on full zoom.

been on machine now, , watched the tv whilst doing it but its still boring, i just hope its no pain no gain
It was very unfair on Adam. I felt for him. That was a very nasty trick for BB to play. He is my favourite, the only one who's likeable and seems to be moral and honest.
A hassock sounds difficult to crossstitch, Sue, see your point about the thick material. When I was little I always got Hassock and Cassock muddled up. Even now when you said it my first image was of you cross-stitching on a monk's robe lol.
