Hellooo gorgeous peeps Thought I'd better give you a snapshot of our wonderful weekend in Brizzle where it DID drizzle (despite my pleas with the sky not to!) before Snowy wows you all with another of her stupendous essays.

I'll try not to bore you with too many details and leave most of it to the others and just stick to the walk mainly.. and fill in any gaps about Friday night etc after everyone else has posted. Friday night was fun as we just relaxed and chatted and chatted and chatted.. then met up with Den, Linda and Gill.

The first mile of the walk took aggggges to complete after we were registered as we had to keep stopping for group photographs for the press. But the speed soon picked up as we didn't have to have photos (other than ones we took ourselves) and groups began to divide – I think all in all there were approx 200 walkers raising money. The views through the country side were glorious, not even the muddiness or small sprinkles of rain could ruin the morale. Overall, all the teams that walked with Josie made over £2,300 so we can all be so proud of that. It made me quite emotional to think of what we were doing and where the money would be going and hopefully it will help many people who are diagnosed with Meningitis. Every single step was worth it with that sobering thought in my head. Hopefully we did you all proud too!

As soon as we set off I started to unwrap my Fudge chocolate (we hadn't had any breakfast as none of us felt brilliant in the morning) but then paused to wonder if it was too early for choco, Josie shook her head. GIRL AFTER MY OWN HEART! I love this girl to pieces and WON'T have anyone say otherwise.. to be in her company, you can't help but feel happy. JOSIE = JOY!

Snowy wasn't a fan of the unspoilt beauty and stinging nettles that brushed past our bodies.. and at one point near screamed to me 'could this BE more nature?' in Chandler from Friends fashion Remind me never to take that girl camping, could be a big recipe for disaster!! I was up for a sing song to pass the time (not that it was needed as everyone was gabbing so much) and Josie started singing some sailor sounding song.. similar to What shall we do with a drunken sailor? Though I'm pretty sure it wasn't that!

Josie is even prettier than I remembered from meeting her last time. She somehow manages to look even more glam and gorgeous in her hoody, jeans, Nike trainers (this little detail is for Ferfer, I remember she liked to know what shoes Jose wears) and Little Miss Chatterbox socks, than she does even in one of her beautiful dresses. But that's Josie, she exudes the Gibson glow!!! And what I wouldn't give to bottle some of that, she could sell it alongside her perfume. Oooh and super super slim – there is NO way those photos published of her on the beach were of HER body!

She has so much stamina and didn't even stop with Roxy tugging her along!! Roxy came along for the whole walk and was good as gold apart from the odd growl at a passing dog. Josie says that she likes girls better and thinks she is in heat!! Jen was a star picking up Roxy's poop without a second thought. Roxy's face was hilarious when she sat herself in a puddle to take a piddle, it looked like 'what is everyone looking at? Don't you all urinate too??'

One of the things I love most about being in Josie's company, is how she puts everyone at ease. She is the most approachable and down to earth person to have a conversation with! And although she doesn't like to think of herself as a celebrity, she is (no matter what letter in the alphabet you want to class her as) but it doesn't feel like that (I was so star struck last time and giddy) as she makes you feel like you're talking to a long lost friend. And it does feel like you know her where we've spent so much time watching her on TV.. yet it must be so weird having relative strangers talk to you in this way but she could be used to this now. We were very lucky to have spent so much time with her on the walk and had some good chats.

*It was like Muddy was with us in spirit the entire weekend.. well actually, more in the literal sense as we kept slipping in the mud and sliding into the puddles.

*Flakes and I had a lovely time walking round with Puddingbase and her beautiful family. Her twin daughters are such cuties and a real credit to their parents. They didn't moan or complain the entire way around despite it being so far! The girls were even kind enough to share their sweets with us and Puds had brought along some curly wurlies for us. One of the girls even offered Josie a curly wurly but she was so good, she thanked them but politely declined as she thought she'd better not. All the children on the walk kept me plodding along – seeing how determined they were to complete every mile for such an amazing cause was so inspiring.

*The funniest moment of the walk for me, was when one of Pud's daughters turned to me and asked so adorably 'are you an adult?' I cracked up laughing but answered I was supposed to be and that I was 26. Even Josie thought I was about 12 when Flakes asked her to guess and her jaw drop when I revealed my true age. She blamed it on my 'baby face' although normally it is my size that makes my age deceptive not my face. Josie really does have a brilliant memory when it comes to meeting people (and she must have met thousands!) as she recalled smooshing my cheeks at the party for Meningitis in March!

*Those who were unable to participate in the walk, came to support us and greeted us at every rest stop (which was essentially for anyone to nip to the toilet) and perked us up. As they went by in their cars (jammy dodgers!) they honked their horns and cheered us on.

*I got some funny looks when I was bitten in an unfortunate area so went to put the cream on (that Pudding had let me use) I tried to cover my modesty but anyone who saw me from behind it must have looked like I was going to pee!!!

*Some snippets from the talks with Jose: She keeps being asked to appear on BOTS but isn't too keen – she only would go back to see Emma Willis. She hasn't even really been watching it and felt bad but she's been so busy going to meetings or decorating at home. Some of the comments she makes in magazines are to annoy her haters! Soooooo suck on that to anyone who dislikes her – your opinions are of NO relevance to her so maybe find another hobby!! After we asked how big Mario's ball bag was, she told us how John used to ask her about this and did a spot on impression 'Jose, why does he always have to get his farkiiin' ball bag out?'

*I came nearly face to face with my nemesis and hid into Snowflake as we walked past swans. Most of you already will know they are my greatest phobia and just the thought of them and their evil-ness sends cold chills all over my body.

We were overjoyed when the end was in sight, after a rather gruelling hill up Clifton. What an overwhelming sense of achievement it was when we reached our final destination at the end of the 11 miles (Keynsham to Clifton) and were able to rest our weary bones and aching feet (poor Rhiii's blistered) and sit down to a burger lunch with salad in the pub. After Luke came to collect Roxy Josie came in to join us and asked where we were sitting. And sat right at the table behind us so we could all have a lovely chat. Cheeky girl even told a really hot guy that I thought he was fit (which I had!!!) and then told me he went red.

Before Josie left with Den, she promised to follow Snowy and I on twitter (and she's a woman of her word) but doesn't know how to search for someone! Which is how she sent a blank tweet to Flakes.. albeit it the WRONG Snowflake :P (She normally presses follow after she receives a tweet) We said our goodbyes and had some more group photos with all the walkers. I got a hug too after she was stood beside me and awwwing at how short I am!

By Saturday night, Snowy was really starting to feel poorly and Rhi was tired too. Vods and Phil went back to their hotel room for a kip and Flakes and Rhi had a couple of hours sleep too so I was left to entertain myself! Thanks to Muddy for keeping me company via whatsapp! Later on we ordered some room service and watched some of Full Monty and then stayed up chatting but we were good and didn't do our usual all nighters. We were light weights as we were worn out from the walk and Flakes as she wasn't well.

Sunday we managed to score some freebies for breakfast by a sweet young boy who served us our food. Then we got our taxi to our trains and then said a sad goodbye I realised I had left my shoes in the hotel reception, luckily Voddie acted as Fairy Godmother to this forgetful Cinderella and picked them up for me so I'll get them back at some point.

Hopefully we'll all be able to see each other again soon and that I'll meet more of you at one of the next events!! I had a brilliant time as always with some of the best, funniest and warm hearted people I know. It was a pleasure, as always! And it really is pretty darn special that so many true friendships have been formed from watching 2 very very SPECIAL people on a reality tv show xxx

And it really is pretty darn special that so many true friendships have been formed from watching 2 very very SPECIAL people on a reality tv show xxx”

sounds like you had a blast!! and it's nice that she still remembers what john sounds like, even if she doesn't remember what he looks like!!
