I never do. I like to see them first on tv...I might then go onto their websites but never before the show, for that very reason

Already getting a nice but nasty vibe from the mother/daughter team.

But I found ya!

I'm getting so that I want back to back episodes, can't be doing with waiting for another 30 mins each day. Getting impatient in me old age.
I at the green & brown decor in one of the bedrooms, I might have asked for a change of room I disliked it that much - and those cushions.

Good that the the chippy food is exactly the same colour no matter what is is
Awww - I love those penny arcades, when I was a kid you couldn't keep me away from the Penny Falls one. I lol'd at the mother looking for forgotten winnings in the cup & on the floor - we used to do that, amazing how much we found.

I didn't think that'd be a controversial statement

Had to go out at the last minute yesterday, so recorded it. Watched it late last night. I am getting bad vibes about the mother and daughter. Sea Verge wasn't the sort of place I would go to, but for it's market, I thought it looked really fine. The bedroom colours were a bit garish, but that's all. For £56 per night with full breakfast, I think the ladies got a bargain! I hope no-one underpaid, cos it did look like excellent value for money to me.

At first I thought Andy might be the bad guy but as the show went on it seems the mother/daughter might be, although more the mother than the daughter. She seems to nitpick at everything

That's what I thought, if I turned up unexpectedly in Paignton, everywhere was packed and that was all that was available, I would be happy. Seaverge was clean, really good value, especially with the breakfast and good hosts.

Not sure about Mum and daughter, seen that Mum somewhere before on tv. Alot of these people show up in May The Best House Win, CDWM, Four Weddings, Don't Tell The Bride don't they? Eileen with the Maine Coon cats was on May The Best House Win recently. I quite liked her and I find I quite enjoy recognising these people on other shows.

I agree, it looked great value for money and the hosts were lovely, so what if she walks around in slippers it's not actually impacting on how things get done! I would say the only feature that lets them down is the signage on the front of the building, it's very dated and out of place looking, otherwise imo a very good value for money hotel!

But, as usual, this programme pitches them with completely different ends of the market, instead of comparing like with like as it should be!

g'd evening.

Not good when you know you are being judged on every tiny thing. Makes you wonder how much the production team are involved
