Anyone else read this collection of short stories? Which was your personal favourite?

I can't recall the actual name of it but it was the one with the pianist and the pushy mother.

Mrs Kearney, the mother was called. She was a great character. I think the story may have been titled, A Fine Lady. It certainly shows that pushy mothers in showbiz aren't a recent phenomena.

Dubliners is one of my favourite ever books, The Dead is my favourite story in the collection. I studied the book for my English Language and Literature A-Level, and although I failed the A-level, Dubliners became one of my favourite ever books.
