Well, after the infamous "Britney" week a lot of people had written them off. Yes, they were in the bottom 2 last week, despite a brilliant performance. Circle of Life was not mainstream enough and perhaps the staging was too musical theatre, a lot of people have said. But they survived and are still very much in this competition. What is very significant is their resurgence in the This Morning Poll (which seems to be mirrored in the winner`s poll on this thread. So, are we seeing the beginning of the G4 come-back?? The last "dark horse" in a reality show (Alistair Griffin - received nothing but derision and personal insults from Richard Parkes every week and was told he didn`t deserve to remain in the competition. He was given the dark horse tag, the public got behind him and he ended up a very credible runner-up. According to reports, G4 have a "cracker of a song" this week, so will we see the dark horses coming through the inside rails and through to the finishing line????? Despite what the bookies and others are saying, I think the competition is still wide open, and as Simon said, at this stage it is ALL down to song choices.
Right. Having got that off my chest, this 25 year old "kiddie" shall now return to Team Dark Horse HQ (much to the relief of Baileybots, Moogester et al)
......for our usual diverse and meaningful discussions ranging from.......Jon`s bum, Jon`s "Magic Flute", Jon and steamy saunas, wheelie bins (other uses!!!), tacky wedding planners etc, etc. You don`t have to be mad to join us but it does help
