The X Factor rules..ARE LIES.
Reading the T&C you are not allowed any Crime pasts, but Tulisa and Cheryl have both had crime pasts, remember that girl Emily who was done for that video?? She was 14, she had that bad past, but so does Cheryl and Tulisa so ITV and TXF rules are unfair!

I thought the rules were you weren't allowed any outstanding criminal convictions?
From what I remember loads of previous contestants had previous convictions. Didn't Derry from last year have one? I haven't read the T&Cs myself so I could be wrong. |

Perhaps the T&C needs to be written out more clearly and say that if a person has a certain level of law breaking convictions, they cannot apply to audition.

But then Cheryl hit a girl in the club, and was racist to a black girl, then said she wasn't racist because her boyfriend was black. If so, what is a outstanding criminal conviction? Because course: Rape, Murder etc, but they wouldn't be able to auditon, I think the next down thing is Stealing and Hitting someone?:S

Er.. last time I checked Cheryl and Tulisa weren't contestants to it's a bit of a moot point anyway

But then you just proved my point, why should people with Crime pasts be allowed to judge people, but people who have had crime pasts can't auditon for the show?

Anyway as someone above said, it's outstanding crimes. That means that you can't have an current warrants out for your arrest. That girl Emily that you cited as an example chose to leave. As did Frankie Cocoza. |

Judges and contenstants have different rules. Tweedy knocked out someone and abused them, but Cowell fancies her, so it's not a problem for him. Her past never gets mentioned again and she get's rid of the Tweedy surname and she jets off the us. Tulisa I don't think has been charged with anything.
