Ann Widdy would be looked on to be the ideal candidate if that ever happens....

Perhaps that should be "....who SHOULD never do Strictly"? There's been a few already!

But to continue your theme, how about Tony Blair? Wouldn't it be great to see Craig & Len telling him how bad he is!?

Tony Blair probably would be quite good at the dancing -whatever we think about his policies..and I could say a lot ! Aargh ! .But he seems still physically fit and also - he can read music so would be able to dance on the beat.

I bet that Lembik Opik would agree to be on SCD. I hope it doesn't happen.

Magaret Thatcher? Or her lovely daughter, Carol - she used to be a bit of a media fave until she put her foot in it with some unintended racist remark that she felt unable to withdraw.

What about MT's wastrel of a son, Mark? Or is he in prison somewhere for arms dealing?

A Thatcher family member would lift the ratings, IMO and add a bit of edge to a very vanilla show but unfortunately I can't see it happening any time soon.

BLiar is certainly light on his feet but he probably does not get out of bed except for a few millions. Be fun watching him dance surrounded by his bodyguards (paid by the taxpayer of course).

Also the series probably lasts too long and he might be in the UK long enough to be liable to have to pay income tax.

Brown would be always arguing with the judges, he does not accept other people's criticism well. They would have to make sure he did not have his mobile phone with him. Brown also charges quite a lot for appearances.

Hasn't Tone... also got a heart complaint? I seem to remember seeing somewhere he has had a pacemaker fitted or something like that??

I might be wrong but Im sure he had some heart issues a few years ago - it only rings a bell because at the same time my brother had some issues and had to have a pacemaker fitted.

Would have me switching off and many others who deplored the destruction of mining communities and many other abhorrences.

Except Vince Cable is a ballroom enthusiast.

I'd say no to most politicians on SCD - there aren't that many I'd like to see dancing........I'm still recovering from Widdy ......Edwina had a mercifully short run!

Lembit Opick has to be in my top 10 of people I don't want to see on SCD

Gordon Brown!!

ROFL!

No way. He would be terrible.

It would be great for the show though. A former PM on Strictly. Hardly what Dancing on Ice would achieve
