Yes posted in the other thread.
Its got a major problem a pretentious show for a very common format.
40 quid a ticket they are having a laugh they can make as many changes as they like to the format
its not going to work in the UK the BBC needs to accept that fact and move on.

They were charging too much and/or using wrong venues.

The audience and artists don't lend themselves to the arena tours.

It's a shame, but maybe a few things will be different next series, and if they do a tour on a more modest scale, include a few acts from this time as well.

Remember when some people genuinely thought this show was going to replace X Factor?

I don't see the point of tours to be honest. Once the show has finished, people are ready to move on to the next big talent show, or failing that, get themselves a life.

The only thing that put me (and presumably a lot of other people) off getting tickets was the price. No way could I justify £40 a ticket especially when I'd only be really interested in seeing one artist anyway

A guinea pig should NOT cost £22 million. If you pay that much for a format it should work. If not, why not ask for your money back?

I feel very sorry for all those who took part in The Voice and who would assume they would get some kind of career boost from it. Universal are doing nothing to promote Leanne and now the tour has been ditched.

If Universal decide to walk away from this mess, the Beeb will have to scrap series 2 - even if anyone wants to appear.

They can't scrap it, they're contracted to it - but I think Bo Bruce has a future, she's playing the V Festival and is obviously getting airplay on Radio 1 (probably sums up that they wanted her to win).

Tweak the battle rounds and live shows so they're not a dead ringer for X Factor, and move it to January, you'd have more of a shot against Dancing on Ice, and primetime, not early evening.

The BBC has already paid for the format for 2 series, so it will be back next year, although with a smaller budget for each show probably, the judges might even have to share a swivel chair lol.

You know what they should have? - A swivel sofa, and have it spin really fast in hope one of them goes flying off the stage.

I expect a full revamp dare I say Reboot.. for a brand new show.Expect a lot of 'we took on board the feedback'
its a dead cert none of the judges will be back.

these stories are clearly BS that certain people have already signed back,Will.I.Am's ego isnt going to like being linked to a failure of a world wide hit show.

It is disappointing for all the contestants who were promised so much. Its a pity the programme wasn't about the Voice in the end. It did itself no favours

The end of the tour doesnt spell doom for the contestants!

Ive been on Twitter and Ive noticed NONE of the final 8 (barring Ruth) have mentioned the cancelled tour today (I wonder if they've been told not to??)

Sadly its people like Ruth, who need the live exposure the most, who will suffer the most by the tour not going ahead. I doubt for Bo and TYler the cancelling of the tour will impact their lives much, other than they now have more time to devote to making their albums (surely a bigger priority for them??)

This is hilarious. What a terrible show The Voice has been. Just no real interest in it in terms of large numbers. I don't even know the name of the winner.

As someone who hated the Voice from the start due to it being the most disgustingly patronising thing I've ever seen, I am gleeful at this.

To think they could put 4 chairs which you can control in and that would do tells you all you need to know.

Even Fame Academy lasted longer than The Voice. That wasn't a bad formula but was overwhelmed by other shows.
