Who the heck is voting for Casssie?
It's weird, she's clearly a bit bland and has put in a couple of wobbly performances but she's always avoided the drop.
I don't think she's talentless but I'm finding it hard to understand what kind of demographic is voting for her, and in big numbers. Any ideas? She's the dark horse, not G4. |

I think she's very ordinary. She has a nice voice but it's nothing outstanding and she has no spark when she's performing. There have been others just like her in previous competitions and they got nowhere so I don't see her breaking the mould. She's not talentless but I think she needs a lot more work before she tackles the music industry.

I wondered the same thing on Sat myself.
5 good performances and Cassie, who was no better in tune than the previous week and still forcing her voice. And this whole "my little Cassie" routine is getting pretty irritating... |

me, i don't see much appeal in any of the others
she has a great quality to her voice even when its flat, she has obvious shortcomings but i'm more able to overlook them than with the others plus she's lovely

Maybe she's got the Martine McCutcheon factor? Although, it would be hard to find anyone with less talent than Martine, even if Gerri Halliwell was in the same room.

Cockney rose sparrow, salt of the earth done good.
Essentially, people sometimes like to see a chipshop scally done good because it gives them hope. |

Actually, I think Cassie is probably miles away from being a chip shop scally, and I would have to say that I think although she hasn't done much of note recently, Martine McCutcheon can't be called untalented. She is a very good singer and was equally good as Tiffany in EE. |

Just before the voting lines closed last week, they did tell us that the bottom four places were 'too close to call'. So, even though Cassie was singled out first to go through, I would imagine that she was very nearly in the final placings. She must certainly be one of the main choices to be one of the final two contestants this weekend. |

I'm voting for her and have been every week from week 1. I think she has a beautiful voice and a really nice personality. Each week she takes any criticism on the chin and accepts it gracefully. She may have nerves but I think many people are willing to overlook this. I think this is more noticeable due to the fact that we have 'professionals' on the show, ie Rowetta and Steve who, to their credit, have done the circuits but then have the advantage of experience in masking these nerves more easily, ie maybe not as overawed on stage. I hope they give her a more youthful song this weekend or, as mentioned above, 'Midnight train to Georgia' as she sung this beautifully in bootcamp.

I am a Female - late 20's Out of everyone in the competition, I think she shows the most promise. I have an allergic reaction to the shouty vocals of VWS and Rowetta, I can see that Tabby is a good performer (but really dreadful vocally), G4 are doing the worst songs possible so I can’t support them faced with the murdering of various pop tunes, and I hate Steve with a passion (arrogant t*sser, IMO). Cassie is incredible vocally (she gets criticised for not living up to Mariah Carey songs, but who else would even TRY a Mariah song on live TV). The odd dropped note doesn’t worry me, far better paid artists have turned in far more shit vocal performances at gigs I’ve been to. I like her and think she has actually shown she deserves to be there, unlike some of the other remaining acts. |

Like G4 I think Cassie is really talented but somehow her image and song choices seem too dated for her young age.Sharon needs to completely re think her style.Unless she does she's going to lack that X factor and I won't vote for her.

I swore not to vote while the judges have the final say but I relented and gave her 2 votes on Saturday. I shall continue and up it by one vote each week as long as she is there Regards Big Spender. |
