I'm wondering if anyone has ever met any of The X Factor contestants or know of anyone who's met them? If so, tell me what they were like. Last year, I had the pleasure of meeting the awesome Aiden Grimshaw when he performed in Cork. He kissed me on the cheek and referred to me as beautiful. I thanked him for being awesome. I still smile at this beautiful memory. I also know of a guy who's met some The X Factor contestants. He met some of the Series 5 finalists and he mentioned that he met three of the lads from JLS who he described as really nice but he said Eoghan Quigg was indifferent. He said friends of his met the Series 7 finalists and everyone except Wagner was really nice. Sorry if I went on too long but I felt I had to share some experiences. I've only met Joe McElderry, and he was nice I guess...just not as smiley as he is on TV, but that's probably because he was having a long day

Been to 5 JLS concerts and have yet to meet them. Absolutely ridiculous!

I met Aiden when he did Camden Proud last week. I was pretty reluctant but my friend kind of railroaded me into it because he knows how much I loved him. Aiden was an absolute sweetheart and really made me feel at ease. He was naturally very chatty and smiley as well as even more gorgeous in real life!

I've met Aiden about 12 times and he is always lovely, also met One Direction a few times and they are a good laugh. Briefly met Rebecca too and she was even more gorgeous in person

I've met John & Edward and Olly Murs. Both absolutely lovely!

I also spoke to Aiden on the phone once, that was cool too.

I haven't personally met her, but I know a fair few who have met Janet Devlin and she always takes time out to meet her fans. Most recently when she was in Sheffield recording she met a number of them, even taking some of them to Starbucks for coffee. She also rang fans last night on a live webchat.

I've met Diana and Ruth they're both lovely. Diana called me gorgeous and babe and I was made up! Danyl Johnson I've met he was awesome and spoke to us for ages whereas Olly Murs just walked past us and looked at us as if we were shit. Leighanne out of Little Mix I've had a brief conversation with, she seemed so snotty like she just didn't want to talk to us. Jade out of Little Mix is probably the nicest out of them all, so lovely and really appreciates the time you give her. I've met a few but they're the mains. Janet Devlin is so talkative and full of banter. Nothing at all like on X Factor.

I've met Olly Murs before, one of the nicest people you will ever meet, also i dropped a bit of money whilst rumaging around in my pocket for a pen (for an autograph), so he bent over to pick it up, and OMG HIS BUM IS INCREDIBLE!!

I've also met Treyc Cohen before and she is soo lovely, and seemed happy to talk to me!

I met Ruth Lorenzo after she did a gig and had a drink with her, lovely girl. I've also met Austin Drage and one of the Jedwards, don't know which one though.

I was a fan of Austin Drage when he was on Series 5 so tell me what he's like in person

I got accused of all sorts for posting about this last Autumn but I swear, every word is true! My partner and I were in the Apple store in Westfield, Stratford city and saw some of the finalists in there- Janet, Misha, Marcus, Frankie and one of the boys from the boy band whose name I've completely forgotten... The Risk!! It was the week after Alexandra Burke had stepped in and I spent a good few minutes chatting to Misha (this was after bullygate) and she was absolutely lovely! So friendly and interested in what I had to say- my boyfriend was so embarrassed as I completely lost it when she blew me a kiss! They were all really nice, apart from (and this is what I got a bashing for saying), Marcus- I'd been voting for him every week previously but he really stood out as having a bad attitude and clearly fancied himself. My friend found the exact same thing when she met him in a Liverpool hotel.The others were very friendly and spent some time having their photos taken with fans. The following week I was backstage at G-A-Y and had a drink with Frankie and Charlie from The Risk (yes really!) and had my photo taken with Charlie. What surprised me the most was just how friendly and decent Frankie was, he was nothing like he came across on the competition. Although he did take the piss out of my cheesey grin when I was having my photo taken!

My partner met Ruth in London once and said she was just the most appreciative thing

When he was in Celeb Big Brother he came across as really nice and a decent guy, just shows how editing can make you look like an absolute monster.

I met Diana Vickers after one of her gigs once, she was lovely. And seriously absolutely GORGEOUS, she was always pretty on TV but in person she was stunning. And a very nice girl.
