hi guys right my o2 contract ends on the 8th of august this year, I rang o2 up last week and asked if they could cancel my contract and that i'd like to pay off the two remaining month's line rental off and have a new o2 sim sent out with the same number but on a pay as you go tariff, they sent out the new card and it is working as a pay as you go, i got a text a few days ago saying that it would be switching to pay as you go on the 18th of june which it has, but they haven't took the last two month's line rental does anybody know when they'll take it, I've gone onto my o2 account and paid this months bill in full off my card, so should they just now only take july's and then the contract is finished ?

When I cancelled my O2 contract (went to a different network), they took the remaining balance of the contract on the 1st of the next month.

ahh I see, so now that ive just paid of june's which was originally due on the 24th of this month, they should take one last payment of £35.74 on the 1st of july and then no more ?

Also when it's finally paid off do i need to log into my barclays online banking and delete the standing order for the direct debit so they won't take anymore ?

I think so. If you're really worried about it, just phone them.
