They're currently on a short tour of the UK. Is anybody else seeing them whilst they are here? I'm seeing them in London tomorrow night.

Never realised they were on tour!

I've recently discovered them and love them, much prefer the first album though...

The Our Deal video is cool

I do like their second album, I've been listening to it a lot but the first is my favourite. I played it to death last year.

Yeah they announced the tour just before the second album came out. I practically begged my parents to let me go as I knew that Dad would be giving me a lift there and back.

They were amazing! I was right at the barrier at the front! couldn't believe how close to the band that I got. Amazing night.

Best Coast are one of those bands i desperately want to like but I just can't. I bought the first album and it just sounded like other things I'd heard, only not as good. If anyone wants to point me in the direction of a song from them I wouldn't have heard I'd be willing to try again.

At first, I thought all the songs on 'Crazy For You' sounded the same but after quite a few listens I began to love it. 'The Only Place' is different, so you might get on with it better - personally, I think taking out the fuzzy production has made their slower stuff incredibly pretty but has made their poppier songs a bit plain.

It probably won't change your mind but non-'Crazy For You' songs you could try are: 'No One Like You', 'Up All Night', 'Mean Girls', 'Gone Again' and 'Sunny Adventure'.

BIB totally agree! I much prefer the fuzzy poppier songs by far.

Anybody heard the Fade Away EP? I'm listening to it at the moment.

I'm looking forward to a full length album from them. I play their music a lot in the summer months. "Crazy For You" was a great debut album.

I'm sure that this is the one that they covered during their London show in 2012. I remember them covering Fleetwood Mac. They also covered Blink-182.

That's interesting! I'm no fan of Drake but I know that she's a fan having looked at her Twitter account.

I would welcome a change in sound slightly. I really like them but I would like to see them branch out a bit and see what else they can do.

I only started listening to the EP properly this morning. Listening to it again this evening, it's brilliant!

Same, nowadays there are newer acts who are doing their sound but better (Angel Olsen, Waxahatchee) so they need to change it up a bit.

As long as they get the right producers on board i'm sure it'll be great!

Having listened to it a few times it sounds a bit like 'Baby I'm Crying' from the 'Fade Away EP'.

It's also about a minute and a half longer than most Best Coast songs, so maybe they're looking to change things up.

For anyone looking for stuff similar to Best Coast, I thought the last La Sera album 'Hour of the Dawn' was really good - 'Fall in Place' is a fantastic song.
