Yes, you'll get one from the list you gave me. At the moment everyone will be getting something they have requested. Your second country will be given at random.

Well over half of the countries participating have been requested so far. Only two countries have been requested as the top choice by more than one person so far.

Yeah we need SOMETHING bit different to win for the good of the contest. UK, Western Europe or even the former USSR/Balkan countries.

As I was thinking of entering, I had a look at the DS wiki page and noticed Nightwish with Amaranth had not qualified in one round of this Where were people's ears?!!?

I see a similar (or worse) fate for all my favourites... Then again I probably should enter just for variety's sake, so as not to have only boring pop songs on offer

Honestly expected them to walk it before the reviews started to fly in for the last contest. I'm amazed people don't seem to like the ultimate club anthem singer in Cascada.

Italy, Netherlands and Germany are all long overdue a win, can only be a matter of time before one of them breaks the duck of West/Central Europe. France hasn't won either, only hosted in Toulouse because the Czechs refused. The only Western European countries to win this are Spain and the old UK.

On the subject of the UK, looking ahead a wee bit but an idea for the 30th contest, how about a one off reunification to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their won and only win?

Someone should do a one off second chance contest of this where people pick their favourite song that didn't qualify for a final- a lot of non qualifying songs need some serious redeeming

Lmao. Both Turkey & Gibraltar exceeded expectations, I don't think I (or anybody else) saw them as potential winners, so I'm happy they got so high!! The only entries I've entered thinking that they could win were Cyprus (Nikki Ponte - Remembering the Summer Nights, 7th) and Denmark (Oh Land - Sun of a Gun) ... and Spain (Natalia - Besa Mi Piel, SF /robbed)

I think I have a winner for my 1 & 2, and then a potential Top 10 for my 3 & 4.

I have changed my list!

I was going to go for something very traditional but then have found 5 songs I think could do very well so will happy with nay of my Top 5!
