I have a PANASONIC VIERA TXL42DT50B TV with a PANASONIC SCHTB550 soundbar.

Is it possible to control the soundbar's volume with a Sky + remote control?

If so what is the code to put into the remote control?

The remote control I was trying to get to work has no label inside it's battery compartment detailing Revision number with a cheep plastic grip/cover.
It just wouldn't control the volume no matter how many codes I tried.

I then borrowed another Sky Plus controller with a rubber grip cover and label inside detailing it's Sky revision number as Rev 8.

Using the Sky "Find your code" I found it was 0678

Entered 0678 into my controller and it now controls the Soundbar volume perfectly.

REV 4, 6 AND 8 = 0678
Apparently the newest REV 9 = 1664

I'm off to buy a genuine sky controller.
