Hopefully seeing the young man in question in a few weeks time again, with others - not as a date. I can't make him out - sometimes I'm sure he's coming on to me and then he's cool. I need to know more about him to figure him out and then I need to let him know I'm interested. In the past I never had to flirt or learn the rules of the game because I didn't have to - so I'm really bad at signals etc. I'll just tryand dress for success.

Thanks everyone for your help.

Am taking due note of the suggestions. Please keep them coming. I have my eye on a particular young man now and need all the help I can get

Is there anything in particular I should not be doing or looking in trying to trap said young man?
That's your job, surely?

I was out for a drink (not a date) with a guy who I secretly fancied. The previous week he had gone on about how he liked the natural woman. So I had made an effort to be 'natural' - loose flowing skirt, minimal make up etc. But he couldn't take his eyes off this (older) woman at the bar. She had tight leather trousers with a very minimal see through white shirt, bleached hair and make up put on with a trowel.
I reminded him of what he had said. 'Yes I know' he replied. But the brain says one thing and the body says another'. So just get done up like a tart, you'll get lots of interest. Sigh..

Lol! Love it. (Most) men are actually incredibly simple creatures and the sooner one realises this, the easier life becomes in my experience!

How did you go goldberry?

My advice is perve on him and dont be too discrete. Don't leer, nobody likes that. But if he see's you looking he'll know you're into him and if he likes older ladies he's bound to respond.

I'm an older lady who has quite recently discovered an addiction to much younger men - I would like tips on how to attract more via my appearance - I'm quite curvy and slim and a girlish looking blonde and attract a certain amount of attention anyway but would like to improve my batting average....help please.
What do you want to attract them for, a short term fling, long term relationship hopefully leading somewhere?

I'm not sure what you need to do as I don't know why you want to attract them. If you're in reasonable shape, dress nice, have nice hair and look the part then I don't see why younger men wouldn't find you attractive.

My colleague pulls younger men, 18 years younger but she's stupid and doesnt even realise they're not using her for sex and nothing more. I'd rather have a man who wants me and respects me whatever his age.

This is only my opinion and my experience:

When I was younger I liked men older than me.

Then I liked men of about my age.

Then men of my age seemed to prefer younger women - I became invisible to them.

Then I started not liking the look or the temperament /old fashioned attitudes of older men.

Then I noticed that younger men would eye me up sometimes so then I was hooked. Younger men are better looking on the whole, more exciting and sexier.

I'm sorry but the old dinosaur men of my generation had it their own way for far too long.

I just like young men.

Cougar is the usual word - I'm more a timid kitten but the man of my dreams doesn't see this.
