Worlds Greatest Dad (Robin Williams)

I watched this movie last night - I had no idea what to expect and I only watched it because my internet went down and I had nothing else to do, but I am so glad I did!

It is by far the best movie I have seen in a very long time - I highly recommend it, it's cheap as chips to buy on amazon!

I will say - if you do decide to watch it - just buy it and watch, don't research it online (don't even read the back of the case) just watch it!

Has anyone else seen it?

Saw this at the cinema when it came out, I went into it blind and was pleasantly surprised, Williams gives a brilliant performance.

Glad someone agrees

I think that reading about it before hand would have ruined it a bit!

I don't like to read or hear someone telling me about movies that I'm yet to watch. I prefer to watch it first hand. I think this movie is going to be my next must watch movie. Thank you.

Williams was robbed of an Oscar nomination for this film.

I'm going to put this in spoiler tags, because i totally agree that the film should be watched without any prior knowledge of what it's about:

Spoiler

Great film with some very good acting from Robin Williams.

I think it's still on Sky Movies occasionally for anyone interested, although it's probably coming to the end of it's run now.

I watched it last year and enjoyed it a lot. Robin Williams really is great in dramatic roles, comedic roles and off-beat roles like this one. The Night Listener is another film of his I really like.
