I would be more inclined to believe you if you were prepared to name your sources and if \i had not had to remind you of the rules of this forum

Most people do not name their sources if they are linked to the show as the source might get in trouble with the BBC if they were named.

I would be inclined to believe Dmolyneaux, who has been on DS for a while and is a proper fan of the show.

I can understand your doubts but for personnel reasons I would never name sources on a open forum as for rules my mistake oops

Agreed and I'd worked it out anyway from reading Katya's tweets shortly before the announcement!

I too am sorry to see Katya go - wish her all the best for the future - there are some I would rather have seen go before her.

Some people seems to think that the general opinion that some FM's have here about a certain pro, celeb or judge is what the majority of the audience think , let me tell you that its not.

She may have not been generally liked here or at other forums but I have no doubt that there was a big majority of people who liked her.

That's ok. Thanks for the info anyway. I happen to believe you as well. Having seen Katya and Pasha on their tour a couple of months ago Katya seemed very excited about returning for another series so unless she has been offered an acting role in the last few weeks I would be very surprised if it was her choice not to return.

Twas me who originally said that Alesha would not be missed. Sincere apologies, I should have elaborated and said " by me ".

She was a great contestant but really should not have been in the position to criticise professional dancers. Her abuse of the English language sometimes made my ears bleed and I found her to be quite vacuous.

Regarding Katya, it seems she was expecting to come back and I would imagine her tweets are a bit of face saving. She should have been given a chance with someone good before she was axed.

That was my opinion of Alesha too Button I know some people will miss her and they have every right to feel that way but I personally won't! To me she was a great dancer but she never added much to the judging panel and should never have been given the role........I found her irritating and at times arrogant........I will be a bit generous and say she improved last series but not enough for me and I'm glad she's found another role on BGT where I think she's more suited.

Of course I agree with you about Katya too......if we'd have just got the chance to see her with at least one celeb that could dance then her axing wouldn't have been so bad......and I'll really miss her partnership with Pasha.

I don't even think Alesha was a great dancer; she was a very good performer, but her Latin technique wasn't great. She should never have been made a judge.

I think the producers wanted to get rid of a female dancer in order to "sex" the cast up a bit. Katya was more classy than sexy and she was understated rather than controversial. I liked that about her, but she didn't generate many headlines, which is all that seems to matter to the producers. It does suggest that they want the show to become more and more tacky - hardly a surprise at this stage to be honest.

I will miss Katya, she is a beautiful dancer and very pretty.

Natalie and Aliona both started in the same series as Katya and both have been given contenders. She was due a celeb with potential. Such a shame she is not returning.

Katya didn't generate the headlines, she just quietly got on with the job of training the celeb to the best ability and did well with Phil and Gavin.

Another mistake by the Beeb letting her go.

Katya follows me on twtitter and I DMd her telling her how sorry Iam and shes beautiuful , did such a good job and wasnt given a fair chance and she replied and shes so sweet .. she seemed to imply she agrees it wasnt fair aswell ..
