I'm amazed this is going to be so big, I don't mind the song, but I felt it was nothing we haven't heard before from Pink and thought it would go top5 at best, now it seems like a sure-fire no1!

The radio have been playing this massively, and that is crucial to a songs success these days.

I don't think the singles Madonna has released this year have been anywhere near her best, but they would have been at least top10 if not top5 with the level of airplay that acts like Pink receive on Radio1 and Capital.

Funnily enough I re-read my analogy earlier and realise it makes me seem like Madonna's recent singles have been some sort of good. They've been shit. Point is, I had no idea radio were even playing this and so I thought it would be riding off P!nk's popularity which has dwindled in her four years absence from the spotlight (one thing I've always admired about her is her willingness to bow out of the spotlight when there's no music to give - spares us much of the silliness we hear from other artists who don't understand when to bugger off).

Blow Me is a good song but I'm just disappointed because she's not bringing anything new with this song - it's like So What and Raise Your Glass with different lyrics.

I don't think Pink is deserving of a number 1 for those reasons.”

Sorry, but I agree with this. And I am a HUGE Pink fan. So What, Raise your Glass, and now Blow Me One Last Kiss do all sound the same to me as well. I like the first two songs and the third one is growing on me but I nearly always skip past them if listening to an album.

I wouldn't say she doesn't deserve to get a number one though. I love her so would love her to get one! To be honest, if anything I think her more better songs don't chart as well which is really annoying so if it's these dancey tunes that get casual fans or non fans buying her singles and/or albums then keep releasing them Pink

I can see why people would say So What and Raise Your Glass seem similar, but Blow Me (One Last Kiss) is completely different IMO.

I think Blow Me is a great song for what it is.

I feel the same. It is enjoyable for what it is, but I get bored with her music. She criticizes artists that do dance/electro as a trend, but her music follows a formula too and is clearly calculated to be played on the radio and be a hit, and not to be artistic. I know all pop stars sort of have their style they stick to, but she changes even less than most of them do. I think she could still do pop/rock but give it more of a twist to make it interesting.

Ooh Ne-Yo came out of nowhere and is number 1 on iTunes now. To be honest I don't mind which gets to N1, I quite like both. :P

P!nk has slipped to #3 on iTunes..

Sadly I don't think it will be #1 tomorrow because of the Neyo/The Script high chart positions.
