According to line 8 no burn in issues.
I don't think you understand the issue

There's obviously no screen burn (like Plasma and CRT can have), but 'burn-in' is a completely different issue - it's fading of the different colours over time. Plasma and CRT again suffer from this, with old Plasma's commonly looking like old CRT's with the greyscale failing as the sets get old.

Fairly obviously there's no way to know yet if that's a problem with OLED until a number of years down the line - existing small screen ones bear little resemblance to the new large screen ones.

Admittedly not the very latest large screen versions, but we have been using them for years on professional equipment and are already looking at the issue of handling replacements on out of warranty equipment....

I think it's fair to say that thus far lifespans and other aspects have been very disappointing.

The LG OLED TV has already been out with convention shows all around the world. It has the most features published. I think it will be wise to consider it. I believe Samsung, Panasonic, and Sony are still classified.

Thanks for your comments guys. We already got some good savings lol. And we plan to settle down on either Samsung oled TV or LG oled TV. So all we need is your opinion on which oled TV model is good. Remember the price is gonna be super high I think and we don’t want to regret on our decision. Your help still…?

I’ve read a lot of articles about the OLED TV release date and it seems like LG's OLED will come out before Samsung's. Some even said LG plans to launch its OLED TV in July this year. Check this link: http://www.theverge.com/2012/5/23/30...e-availability

Get her down lol. I am also saving up for the LG OLED Tv but the difference between you and I is that we are saving up together. Our main reason is to watch the London Olympic together. We want to bring friends and families over. I checked out some review and it seems awesome. I just can’t wait.

No, it's a bit optimistic

Presumably price is no object to him either?.

I read about LG’s OLED TV and got very excited with it !! It is very thin and even hdmi, usb input holes are not at the back of the screen. They are on the stand. I love it

I read news recently about Panasonic which says that Panasonic has been selling its large size TVs at loss. I am afraid OLED market will heat up too and manufacturers will have strong competition. I also read that LG’s OLED TVs will hit shops in UK during the last 3 months of the year.

As do Sony - they both use higher quality components, better design, and offer far better service - this means they can't compete with the cheaper made LG and Samsung sets and their poorer levels of service.

Have fun saving your money. But it would be a great present to your fiance, not only will it benefit her but you as well. The OLED TVs are amazing and can't wait for it to come out. I kept my eye out for the LG OLED on youtube videos and that's the one I'm probably going to get. I have a 3D LG TV at home, and I am definitely willing to give the LG OLED Tv a try once it's out.

I would go LG OLED just because I read an article couple of days ago about Samsung's AMOLED burn-in issues which was a big turn off from Samsung's AMOLED technology. Supposedly, Samsung AMOLED consumer's are facing issues with burn-ins and wanted to issue this to Samsung, Samsung said they are not going to be taking responsibility for the burn-in. They said on the instruction manual that they have addressed the burn-in issue and will not take responsibility for the burn-in.

I have been looking into OLED TVs, since it is the next generation of television viewing. There are several brands that are starting to introduce the OLED technology. However, none of them got my attention like LG's OLED. The design and image quality seems like a go getter.

As I know, LG has just released its new oled before Olympics started, design and quality goes well with its positive reviews.

All we can do now is just wait for TV experts to review both Samsung and LG OLED TVs.
