Pocket Planes anyone?

Picked this up yesterday and I'm hooked, it's like crack!

Very simple asset management sim, really... only downer is that there aren't enough conflicts, apart from when airports are closed due to weather etc.

Yea I love it too.

How do the events work though? I had an event one of my airports by chance and afterwards I got a spare part as a reward?

I think you just have to fly to and from one of the event airports to participate in the event.

Yup, that's all i thought, too... I had a "search & rescue" event at Bern and for the duration of it a lot of airports around Bern were sending rescuers and first aid kit to Bern. Made a fair amount of cash from that.

It's the little things like flying to Oslo at night and seeing the Northern Lights, lol

I haven't got Oslo yet but based on that I will.

Have you had a problem with a plane yet and it's flying upside down?

Ha! Never had that happen, as yet... perhaps it's a nod to Skyrim, lol

I made the mistake of buying a class 2 plane, though, with the majority of my cash coming from lower cash airports! D'oh! So the Class 2 just sits around waiting for enough passengers to jump to London, Paris, Berlin or Barcelona!

I've done that - I only had London so for a while nowhere to fly it to, I now have Berlin and Bordeaux, 2 blue airports that can also handle class 2, but I can very rarely (once in every 10 flights) fill all 4 seats on it, so it hardly makes any money for me.

I'm pacing myself because it was getting silly. I did a drastic cut-down of playing time whilst on level 10 and I'm only just on level 12 now, lol
