Oddities
I've just started to watch this show which is broadcast on discovery science. It centres around Obscura antiques, an american shop owned by Evan and Mike who trade in the weird and gothic. One example which is indicative of the type of shop Obscura is: an artist bought a jar of cow's eyeballs to use in her work; another guy - a masochist, me thinks - enjoyed pain so much, he inserted large needles through his cheeks and mouth. Customers will ask them to obtain certain far out objects such as - genuine requests - taxidermy sloths and skeletons. They are extremely relaxed on the pricing of their inventory and any items they procure for clients, which is a breath of fresh air when compared with other businesses, such as those featured on Pawn Stars and Hardcore Pawn, for example.
Am I the only addict of this show?
