I've completely changed my mind after tonight's show!

When the nominees were revealed yesterday, I wanted Lauren to stay - but tonight's show was pretty insightful into both of their characters.

Lauren moaned about people not liking her (again) and then at the first chance was off trying to fit in, ignoring everything that had happened and that she'd been complaining about.

Benedict on the other hand isn't trying to 'fit in', came across as witty and astute and overall just made for better viewing.

Anyone else with me? Benedict to stay!

Yes, he is exasperating as hell in the House proper, and scatchingly witty in the Diary Room. A winning combination.

I think Lauren's headed to become a bit of a whiney drama queen and not much else. I don't particulary like Benedict but he's more interesting as a HM.

Benedict also seems to be a more solid part of Lydia's group who are the only chance of getting rid of the likes of Ashleigh and Arron before the final.

I agree. I've liked Benedict from day 1 and don't give a hoot about him being in pornography, but I doubt he'll survive the public vote. Lauren, despite her obvious flaws, is difficult to actively dislike as she is her only victim. If she'd been horrible to the other HMs she might be voted out. And Benedict's stance on masturbation and his attempt to explain his behaviour to Caroline has be received very badly by a lot of people. Shame really.

I'm with you all the way, unfortunately Lauren has made herself look a little desperate IMO. She knows exactly who's put her up for eviction & yet she's STILL trying to get them to be friends with her!

It's sad to watch her so desperately trying to make them like her & I know she's only young & that she will learn with experience & time that you don't want to be friends with people like this.

But.....a small part of me is starting to judge her for it & I don't want to not like her. So I personally think its best for her to leave before she becomes the "desperate no mates girl" that moaned & cried all the time.

I think Lauren is the eternal optimist, but she can't do anything to make those girls like her. They're also being careful with her as they know she will cry and make them look bad if they don't include her. It's like a group of teenagers who have to entertain someone's little sister or get in trouble with her Mum!

Lauren has a massive sympathy vote + the "that will show Ashleigh" brigade rooting for her. She'll stay put for this week....get a week off and be up again the week after.

Its just a shame that Lauren and Benedict are up when we have so many bores in the house, like Sara, Luke s, Ashleigh, Scott, Shievonne, Deana.

Unfortunately, I think this weeks eviction is a forgone conclusion, Benedict is 1/6 to go with some of the bookies..

I think Lauren will get the sympathy vote.

I think I agree too. He will cause more problems to the LukeS, Ashleigh, Arron, Caroline group. That's what I want at this point. lol

I know what you mean, but I still want Benedict to go. Just think Lauren has a lot more to offer. Plus you have to feel a bit sorry for her. She keeps trying, bless her.

It is a shame that the interesting ones are being picked off.

It almost reminds me of BB10 in a way when the outsiders were picked off one by one until BB intervened and put Kris up.

I've a feeling they might pull something similar this year, I think they'd be willing to sacrifice Arron, Conor or Sara.

What you say might be true, but I'd rather the more interesting housemate stay and I think Lauren's given all she has at this stage. Her isolation will just become uncomfortable viewing.

Her alternative to joining in the fun was sitting outside looking miserable with Deanna and Lydia so I don't think it's fair to hold that against her.

Its kind of a slap in the face to the friends that actually bother when she runs off chasing the others as its like they arent good enough.

Yea.
it's just the circumstances are bringing unattractive qualities out in her, anyone could find themselves in that place i think.

Im hoping to see her stay though, i think the house always needs someone that is just about having fun, and maybe it will take the removal of a few of my least favorite hm's to bring that out of her but i reckon it will come.

I don't think it's like that, the vast majority of their time in there is spent doing absolutely nothing and I think Lauren just wants to get on with as many people as possible. I don't think the people who really do like her in there feel anything but sympathy for her, I don't think they're annoyed that she wants to be friends with everyone

i don't agree with you, if she knows that the public supports her, she will dust up herself and be strong, remember she is in a trick environment,i guess that why she tries so hard at least to enjoy herself, but unfortunately golden showers and co. are not letting her. it's tricky but i think she will come thru it, and thats why i have bn votng to save her.
