I have had this for 2 years, it has worked fine until yesterday when I came to turn it on the I noticed the blue light which I think is the standby/on light flashing on and off and the unit will not turn on manually or with the remote, I would very much appreciate any advise.

Made by Vestel, almost certainly due to power supply failure. Probably not economic to have it repaired.
