Stooshe could be huge. I think they're fantastic and they can all sing really well...they're different to everyone else too. However, their one downfall is promo. They don't do any whatsoever!! I don't get what their label are playing at. Black Heart is at number 4 without any promo, and I reckon it would have hit number one with promo.

They don't seem likeable to me when they're talking! I think the fact that Black Heart is a nice, catchy song, it's propeling itself.

I wouldn't say they've had no promo, but they've done very well considering they're not playlisted by Capital. I think a big part of it has been launching the single at 59p on iTunes, which is a really smart move and I think more people should do it.

59p on itunes, banner ads on youtube & iPhone apps, adverts on TV.
I haven't seen any other promo, but they're defiantly helping if it's at number 4.

Not sure what the big deal here is, Feel the Love went to #1 with no promo or Capital airplay before its release.

But Black Heart has still done rather well, and they'll probably manage another decent-sized hit before the album release.

As much as I want them to do well... I just can't see the album doing very well at all..

That's really good. I think it's partly because it's a better song than Love Me. The online promo probably helped as well (for those with no adblock of course ).

Err, I saw a television advert for the single on ITV. I think that's called promotion.

It's constantly on Radio 2. I know it's not their target demographic but there are still young people who listen. Plus it's been plastered all over the music channels on TV.

One wonders what heights they could reach if they had a decent budget and image overhaul.

Most artists start off with cheap looking videos for a song or two (espicially in the UK).
They'll soon be given bigger platforms/ budgets to promote... they just need to earn it.

They've had lots of promo!!!!!!!!! They're top 10 on the radio airplay chart aren't they? Radio airplay is the best promo you can get!!

It's a fantastic song though. I'm glad it's doing well.

Sorry, what I really meant is that I haven't seen them perform it anywhere on tv. When you youtube the track, all you get is acoustic versions that they've done for weird, not very well known radio stations (apart from R1 Live Lounge). Then again though, I don't even know where on tv they could perform it. It's not like years ago when there was Top of the pops, Live and kicking, smtv live etc for artists to perform on. Now all we have is shows like X Factor, and unless you're a huge star or an XF winner, you're not allowed to perform on there.

That's the power of radio airplay for you....

You know what? I heard their first single and wrote them off. I thought they were a novelty act who could actually sing a bit.

I heard their new song on the radio today though, and was genuinely surprised when I found out who it was by. I really enjoyed it, and plan to download it later. It's not the type of music to set the world alight, but its nice on the ears and they all sound really good on it!

I might too. It's much better than Love Me. That song was absolutely dreadful.
