Is anyone willing to create a recap this week? It would be great if someone did although unfortunately I no longer have the resources to make any myself like I did last year. It just seems a bit biased how some Heats have recaps and some don't.

Possible Comps
- Best TV Themes, run once last year could provide us with a mini-series
- Best Cover of a Eurovision song (not just a language change, but a proper cover)
- Best Remix of a Eurovision song
- Best Instrumental (will last year’s host Drew Peacock run another?)
- NF Rejects - We've done a lot of 2012, but there's more and from previous years
- Film Music Round (BigBMad)
- Worst Song Ever part 2 (Nightfox)
- Best Novelty Song (Drew Peacock)
Comps done: http://dsfantasyesc.wikia.com/wiki/DS_Fantasy_ESC_Wiki

Fantasy - 12 rounds plus Andra Chansen, so approx. 2 rounds per month.
List of songs already used in previous years fantasy contests are here:
2010: http://dsfantasyesc.wikia.com/wiki/F...2010_All_Songs
2011: http://dsfantasyesc.wikia.com/wiki/F...2011_All_Songs

Slight mod this year -
Number of qualifiers based on entries, 20-28 = 8 Q, 29-36 = 10 Q, 37+ = 12 Qualifiers.

Still need a host for w/c July 9.

YIPPIE!!!
I guess that might be my role now as I don't think ShadyNathan would give up his chances of winning.

I see there's a possibility of Drew Peacock doing another Instrumentals round, so if there's no one else wanting to do it I'd be more than happy to do TV themes again. I'm not too bothered either way though, it depends what anyone else wants to do.

I thought I'd hate the instrumentals last year but to my surprise I loved it(despite my traditional bottom 5 placing)

Have a good one this year

I'm happy to host again, but prob not until after the start of September.

Was actually looking at my playlist from the contest I hosted last year, this morning. I'd forgotten how much I loved Ranjadad!

Ah, is that the number we're going with? I rounded them up to 1-30, 31-40 and 40+ in my opening post. It doesn't bother me either way, just as long as I know before revealing the results!

Something that always confused me about Mamo...why did the chorus sound like it was using a sample from a "best lift music" compliation? It's so out of place for the song...

I loved Mamo! Still listen to it now! I love pretending like I know the words when I only really know the sounds. I nickname my Russian colleague Marianna "Mamo".

Me too! Never really "got it" till the night but have loved it since then

We should do a duet of it Nathan, you can be the young Anastasia, and I'll be the other one

The chorus made it, I always loved the big screen they used to stage that song too, was definitely better than Dima Bilan. Even if she was Ukrainian, my favourite ever Russian Eurovision song.

Forgot to mention that my Eurovision 2012 DVD came today It seems a bit dark .... but then I don't think that the Baku stage was particularly colourful at any point?

Loved seeing the interval act for the second semi again, I remembered it as being brilliant, it really wasn't!

And in case Mikay is still lurking around, here's an Anmary remix to give you nightmares

I like that idea! But don't like the fact that you will get to do all the fun screamy bits

I would strip it back to the NF performance as well, on my knees, beating my fists on the floor
