She had a go at Carmel for looking pale the other day, she also got the tanning machine, wasn't her fault at all but you can see why she might feel guilty.

I agree that Mitzeee and Riley isn't great but it's a lot better than the charisma vacuum that was Lynsey and Riley.

The problem isn't Mitzeee or Lynsey though, it's the big lump of boringness that is Riley.

I was wondering if anyone could fill me on Nancy' pregnancy. Next week she goes for her 12 week scan and i didnt think she was that far gone. When did she discover she was pregnant a second time. I think it was May. Wasnt it? If that is the case then how can she be 12 weeks already. I might have worked it out wrong and she discovered earlier. What does everyone else think?

Two episodes of Hollyoaks have made it into Channel 4's Top 30 rated programmes for the week ending June 10th.
Thursday 7th June - 0.99k
Tuesday 5th June - 0.97k
This is the first time that an episode has rated below 1m and still made it into the Top 30 highest rated programmes of the week. It also shows just how bad C4's ratings are as well.

She only had the miscarriage at the end of March. So if she's 12 weeks now, she must have got pregnant almost immediately after the miscarriage. She might only have realised later that she was pregnant though - if she confirmed it in May, she must have already been 6-8 weeks gone. That can happen I guess.

It's more likely to be that they had to fit the scan in where they could, the one hospital bed they have is full of various McQueens so they slotted her in when one of them went to the loo.

I don't see how she could have fallen straight after the miscarriage as they made a big deal of Darren being unwilling to play his part in that, he said they had to wait for at least four weeks.

So we are talking the end of April at the earliest which means that 12 weeks is ridiculous, maybe she is having an early scan because of the miscarriage?

Does it specifically mention 12 weeks?

It's just HOs magical time machine again.

Yes. In this weeks TV Times it says 'Nancy is worried as she prepares for her 12 week scan'. Im unsure of when she got pregnant. She miscarried in March and they had a 1 week fall out. Then they appeared with everything fine again in April. They found out in April (late April) i believe at being pregnant again. She cant possibly be 12 weeks but maybe im wrong. Maybe it is an earlier scan due to her previous miscarriage but it doesnt explain why all the mags ive read and this weeks TV Times says its her 12 week one. I dont know. It probably Hollyoaks bad continuity again.

Have Hollyoaks blow all thier budget this month of The Dog revamp, and the houseboat. It's the only explaination I can come to as to why Carmel looks like she has fallen alseep in a pizza, rather than suffer burn injuries similar to what they can come up with on Casualty.

As for Ratboy ( those who were on the Channel 4 Hollyoaks forums will know who I'm talking about ) he must be penis repelant to hook up with some who has less on screen charisma than a Thunderbird puppet and as about as convincing at being gay.

And I see they have cast Skelator from He-Man now he has had a face transplant, as the "Irish Wonders" new rival,, though he is about as scary now as a Teletubbie.

With regards to Darren and Nancy. I'm sure they are trying to get the verbal sparring on Benedick and Beartrice from Much Ado about Nothing, only it's more akin to Bert and Ernie from Seasame Street.

Just checcked. Nancy diiscovered her pregnancy news on the 24th May. The same week as the pub quiz and Darren and Nancy fighting over their intelligence. So she cant be 12 weeks based on the time frame of her first pregnancy ending and this one being discovered.

They are always doing things like that shortie, it angers me greatly but most people just seem to ignore it, it's that or go insane or stop watching.

I'm pretty sure that Amy was pregnant with one of her kids for 10 months.

It's a sign of the high regard in which the makers of HOs hold their viewers.

12 weeks is counted form the first day of your last period.. so it is actually only about 9 - 10 since you GOT pregnant.

its just the way its worked out.

10 months is a normal pregnancy. not 9.

when you find out you are usually classed as about 5 -6 weeks.
you can also get pregnant immediately after a miscarriage.

oh and a 12 weeks scan can be had anytime after 10 weeks. its just called a "12 week scan"

No it isn't, a normal pregnancy is 39 weeks, it can go over to 41 but that doesn't make 10 months.

Unless it is 10 Februarys.

ETA Anyway what a boring disagreement, according to google the average human pregnancy is 280 days or 40 weeks, this is between 9 and 10 months but closer to nine.

You can't get pregnant straight after a miscarriage if your partner refuses to sleep with you and says you have to wait at least 4 weeks, as Darren did.

I don't suppose it matters in the general scheme of life.

Maybe they should have just called it her first scan rather than putting a date on it.

.
BIB It is a sign that they think we have a very low IQ. Darren and Nancy split up after her miscarriage, I can't remember how long for though, as it was played off screen.

Maybe Nancy turned to Jack for comfort and we will be getting another who is the daddy storyline in a few months time.

Wouldn't be the first time Jack got a young girl up the duff while he was married.

lol

It's funny to joke about it now, but watch out, didn't Esther make Frankie's wedding dress? And of course Bart will do some stupid graffiti on the walls of the new Dog, then when Nancy is trying to do her speech, Tilly will come along and start talking to Maddie, trying to persuade her not to give up on her love for Callum.
