Brendan doing another of his appearing tricks that he got from Silas...that'll never get old.

Does no one lock Mitzeee's home? No wonder she's easy to stalk.

Also, were we meant to feel sorry for Mercedes there? I was actually hoping it would end up like the way it did, and not with another interruption between Riley and Mitzeee. She can cry all she likes.

Still not liking Doug and Ste, but Brendan was great!

Good to see Brendan showing support for Lynsey, while I don't think Brendan would take Lynsey's advice most of the time, I do think he would hear what she has to say, advice as well as warnings, so Walker really shouldn't have seen here as a nothing person in Brendan's life.. But I didn't like smug Joel.

I agree Reo but then I usually do and thanks for the link about the band although having read the article I assume they were in the non event festival. My daughter was her when Brendan grabbed Walker, what was that about please?

*ahem* I think you'll find that Brendan was exhibiting his magical powers of entering locked homes long before Silas appeared on the scene

Brenden was on top form tonight, especially with that teddy thing is the flat. It's good to see he has some control over them again. Nice to see he's still very protective of Lynsey too

Good question. Either way, like you I was hoping it ended up the way it did too - have to admit I let out a little cheer when it did. I don't feel sorry for Mercedes one bit, even with all the crying.

Were we meant to be charmed by Doug trying to carry Ste or was it supposed to make us roll our eyes and cringe?

Nice to see Mitzeee get what she wants, pity Riley is such a bore.

And now that Brendan is landlord of Ste's slum, I hope he hikes up the rent considerably in order to recoup some of the 80K that Ste scammed off him.
Of course, Ste could well tell him to stick it, and move into a little love-nest with Doug. But that would leave poor Amy having to cover all her own bills, so I don't think that'll happen.

I don't get this whole 'Ste needed a proper man' that Brenden was on about and Doug was worried about. I mean Ste doesn't have THAT much experience and he's pretty skinny and small the same as Doug anyway.

I thought it was cute too, and yeah I quite like Stug.

I really, really liked that episode. The last scenes where Mitzeee and Riley got together were so good. The look on Mercedes face was funny when they almost went into Riley's room, but I felt a little bit sorry for her.

I was surprised when Brendan hit Walker! At least it shows he isn't blindly trusting him, because Walker's clearly not trustworthy. I liked the Lynsey/Walker confrontation as well. Pheobe is improving for me, I like her more now she's trying to be helpful to Jacqui as she was when they found Carmel and trying to sort out her problems with Rhys.

I've very rarely watched Hollyoaks over the past few months, but I saw tonight's E4 episode and really enjoyed most of it. I think it was because most of the characters where older/established ones; Rhys/Jacqui, Darren/Nancy, Mitzeee/Riley (loved the last scene with Mercedes catching them). I still can't buy the Doug/Ste storyline though, so that was the only downside.

I think any episode which doesn't feature the awful sixth formers is instantly improved.

Ilike Stug and I'm actually growing to like Ritzeee pretty glad to see them together but MAN! that must of been awful for Mercedes and it's about to get even more intense and dramatic next week so I can't wait for that The episodes this week have been pretty good so far and not a single sixth former in sight! they haven't appeared for about 3 weeks! this is GREAT! It was nice of Brendan protecting Lynsey, Walker deserved that! I also liked the scenes with Jacqui, Pheobe and Rhys.

Okay stupid question here but, I need to know is Silas actually returning to Hollyoaks or is it just rumored because everyone says that he's comming back? has it been confirmed but they only said he was at the set and he was reading a script...

BIB: agree with everything

he was on set with a script, made the assumption he returns
im not sure if its been confirmed
but i would like him to return and get a proper aftermath he gets a heart attack and dies

Oooh Nick ey? Well I perfer that to Simon! I dont even think his name is Walker and he def isnt married with kids or gay, bi possibly I'm not sure?

Also that punch Brendan gave 'Walker' looked real was really good!

But I've seriously had enough of Stug, what on earth was Doug carrying Ste for? did they get married off screen between scenes or something? I just can't watch them. Them being together doesn't bother me, I just find it so cringy and ott! I did love Brendan covering the bears eyes though haha, but I wish he'd leave them alone now.

BIB - They've really lost the plot with these two. That was just plain ludicrous. I was embarrassed for the two actors.

My favourite bit was Doug being all smug because he made Brendan pay for his sandwich and he and Ste being all we beat the big bad wolf and told him not to cross the line in the sand.

They have met him right? They both, especially Ste, know he isn't going to leave it there.

Has Ste totally forgotten the Brendan is a murderer thing and actually thinks he is going to be backed off by Doug?

You are having a laugh HOs, at us, you are laughing at us.

Even Cheryl warned Joel last week, don't push Brendan, you know he only pushes back twice as hard.

Are we supposed to think he is intimidated by Doug?

He said that he just needs to get "better acquainted" with Lynsey to get her off his case and implied he could do this easily as Brendan tells Walker that he has a gift for getting people on his side. Brendan then said that Lynsey was family and if Walker goes anywhere near her, Brendan will end him.

Lynsey almost stole the episode for me tonight! It was great to see fierce and ferocious Lynsey in full force again. Though, I think she should start her own neighbourhood watch group seeing as she's always on the lookout for people creeping around, taking advantage.

But Hollyoaks saved the best for last. That Ritzeee scene was so amazing! They just belong together.
