I went to the most awesome gut blistering concert of my entire life!!! I went to see Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers live at The Royal Albert Hall in London, UK last night!! It was the 2nd of 2 nights he did there which was the first concerts in the UK for 20 LONG ****ING YEARS!!!. With Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers I DEFINATELY went somewhere last night - to some atmospheric height of musical exstacy!! From the first note to the last EVERYONE was on their feet(the venues security lost the battle in trying to keep everyone in their seats!!!LOL), singing all the songs in the setlist word for word, including tracks he played from his new CD Mojo, which was awesome considering he hasnt been over here in 20 years!!! There was even a really nice bonus when Steve Winwood came out and played 2 tracks!!

I am SERIOUSLY considering getting last minute tickets to see them headline Saturday at the Isle Of Wight Festival this weekend!!!

You are so lucky. I wanted to see them in Dublin but I couldn't get anyone to go with me and I didn't fancy going alone as Dublin scares me.

I love Tom Petty and his musical integrity in not changing his sound according to what was popular at the time. He simply makes great music for all of us to enjoy and clearly enjoys doing so.

Tom Petty is a class act.

Got the greatest hits album (Wont back down, Free fallin, Learning to fly, Into the great wide open).. would love to hear them live.

Golden period when Jeff Lynne co-wrote the songs.

You're obviously braver than me. Either that or Dubliners are scarier than Londoners
