I actually think he'd have been one of my favourite teachers at school (struggling to think that far back) but I always preferred the 'off the wall, cool teachers*. I found them interesting and actually listened. He had a curriculum to follow, it's not like he was teaching them the benefits of porn *starring*.
TBH after I found out about his other life I would have found it difficult to respect or listen to him and I was a swot "Yes Miss No Miss 3 Bags Full Miss" you know if a teacher told me to jump off the roof I would just because they told me to do it and you always do what they say no matter what
