I know. I really hope they capture all of the Lydia/Deana and Benedict drama and don't waste time on other silly stuff.

Is it even that much? By the time Brian has done his 'jokes', recap on week, preview of the night, 5 mins then first advert. Talking to the friends/family. Phoneline numbers. adverts. Including all the flashbacks and rubbish, then the annoucement and interview. There cant be much brand new footage shown in total. Why is it only an hour now?

They've given them alcohol on top of that tension. They almost WANT something to happen.

I can't see how they're going to fit all that into 25 minutes. This is where the need two seperate shows on an eviction night.

The eviction interviews are terrible these days anyway. They should scrap them from the main show and leave them for Bit On The Side (more incentive to get people to tune in too). Just evict the housemate at 10.50pm with BOTS at 11pm. Emma's interviews are much better.

I agree; though I suppose some Thursday's are quite slow so the highlights are quite limited for Friday.

Saying that, by stopping nominations, catching a rule break, giving Lauren and Benedict a task and throwing in alcohol they certainly want something to show.

i think thats why they showed a lot of clips on bb:bots to compensate for the main show

I really don't like the idea of a single one hour show for evictions at all. They could get away with it in the early days but that was when the shows were meant to be catch-ups. Now we solely have the hour shows it seems like a bad move. It'd be better if they could do something like an 80 minute show and then just cut BBOTS down to 40 mins.
