Mine has not arrived up yet as I only ordered it on Sunday afternoon. I will post on here when my clear case arrives and tell you if it is for the 3DS XL. Fingers crossed. I hope that you get your sorted. |

I played about with the 3DS XL in the shops. Didn't like the more plasticky feel of it. I think I'll stick with the 3DS.

I don't know why they changed the entire look of the machine. They should have just made it a larger version on the 3DS, like they did with the DSiXL. |

So I haven't actually bought one of these yet, I'm kinda waiting for a white model as only the silver appeals at the moment, I might as well hold off until i can pick one up I really want.
Having now played on one I have to say it's a fantastic screen, comfortable to hold and use but how on earth have they not improved the D-pad. Again Nintendo? really? It's as horrid as the original. The face buttons also protrude out of the unit a bit more than the standard model but while they look like the original DSL then don't feel as nice and snappy to press, kinda has a limp spongy feel. Nitpicking I know but Nintendo really should of addressed the few issues that were problems with the original model. That screen is gorgeous though and I can't wait to play the new Castlevania Mirror of Fate on it.

I managed to order one for £160 (with AC Adaptor included), which is about £15 cheaper than most places. :-)

Had a go today in HMV, and it made me feel like an idiot for not holding out a little longer. I'm seriously considering trading my 3DS in for the XL.

The cheapest i've found is £180 or 195 in gamestation with one game The problem being after checking how much i could sell my 360 and games for it only came upto about £125 |
