It's no problem! Like I said, and Topaz too, I think some of the heights have been with heels for some and without heels for others so it's hard to get an actual picture of the true heights!

I always thought based on TV appearance, that Katya was much taller than she really is! It's the same with the competitive dancers, they look so tall on DVD (particularly the women) and then you see them in real life and they're a lot smaller!

Robin is 5ft 10 he told me himself once

Hehe the thing with Katya though was that she danced with Antonio Banderas in "Take The Lead" - there wasn't much height difference with them and he's only 5ft 9

That is what I thought, but I've seen different heights listed for her so thought it best to put "disputed"

I've asked the question already on the K and A thread . Some peeps are going to DttM tonight - might get a chance to ask Artem (but will prob be too much of a flutter to remember )

Cheers I'm pretty sure the ITT challenge last year had him as 5ft 11 - I've always remembered he was the same height as James and Anton after that.

I know that's what they said, but no one on the K and A thread at the time thought that could be right . There's a newspaper 'interview' with his mum somewhere and she says he's 5'9.....but as she doesn't speak any English and it was a tabloid, I wouldn't rely on the rigour of the reporting!

Artems definitely not 6.0". I had my photo taken with him Sunday and I'm only 5.0" He wasnt huge. My other half is 6.0 and he's definitely taller than Artem. I'd say nearer 5'9".

More like 5'9". As said in post below had photo with him Sunday, he's not 6.0".

I would say nearer 5.9".

OOoh lucky you getting to met Artem Yes that was about my estimation of his height earlier on in the thread because Pasha looks slightly taller than him and he's apparently 5ft 10

The year Artem and Robin joined the show both were asked on Twitter how tall they were and both replied 5'10.

On the launch show when all the male's are lined up James and Anton are clearly taller.

I have it in my head that Brendan is 6'1 and Natalie 5'9 and a half....

Hi AmSalt - I've also had that pleasure recently and think 5'9 is right - 5'10 at a push. Once people are 5'11 or 6' they seem tall to me and I didn't think he was tall (He is very lovely though )

I missed the 2011 Strictly Tour, but Artem and Natalie (who I believe danced together) must have looked REALLY mismatched!

Is Vincent really 5ft 7 ? Wow. I'd mistakenly thought he wa maybe 5ft 5 and taller in shoes, obviously.

Mention film/TV actors = people obsess about their weight (& cellulite!)

Mention Strictly pro dancers = people obsess about their height

I concur that she's about 5'3 - I've had a photo taken with her before and we're about the same height. Same goes for Ola, she's about 5'3 as well. Both are definitely taller than Flavia, fairly noticably so.

In this case though it's relevant to which partners they might get and also - does the availabiity of partners of suitable height make any difference to a pro dancer's chances of winning - etc. Very important !

I doubt if any of the pro dancers have got much cellelite...especially the men. I volunteer to check some of the latter though if no one else wants to. ...

Like Laurab88 I hate doing the "I know them" bit, but Ola is the same height as me in bare feet - 5'4", and James is the same as my other half - just a shade over 5'11". James owns to 5'11" though, whereas other half tries to stretch it to "almost 6' "!

I've never seen Kristina without heels on, but she looks so tiny and dainty I'd be surprised if she's more than 5'3" at the most. Artem looks a tad shorter than Anton and James on tv, but I'm not a great judge of these things.
