That is miserable news. I only exchanged posts with him a couple of times, but read a lot more of his.

He always stood out as a very sharp, funny, likeable guy.

I remember once, after one of our punning competitions, we agreed we would have made good brothers.

Balders, you were the brother I always wanted and I feel your loss no less than had that been so.

Give 'em hell up there

Vaya con Dios, my friend.

oathy asked me to post this on this thread.

Friendships Ive formed from my time on DS have been more genuine than real life
for some they wont understand but theres an amazing thing about online friendships
they are based on peoples points of view.observations the feelings and thoughts all come through words.
and if someone is lucky then the friendships really begin after the hard stuff is all sorted.
people are aware of each others flaws.

It was back in 2006 I realised when you pass away its terrible for the friends and family you leave behind
but a new chapter begins for you that cant even put into words it goes beyond Religious belief.
You all formed an amazing bond and like all families theres differences but the bond with Balders is there
and he will remain in the threads he loved so much for one reason people loved him also.

He lost a few pics of Fluffers when his PC was knackered. I found some I had saved & he was so pleased to get them.

The more I think about this sad news the more shocked I seem to get. You were a source of great amusement and I shall miss your wit and charm
Peace be with you unless its party time now you've arrived x x

An absolute classic Bertie! We had such fun... Thanks for all of the SUC folk making silliness and heartfelt friends over the years - we may drift apart - but we all grow from our camaraderie. Many lessons learned, and much happiness watching our friends grow into new areas of success and happiness xxxx Ian will be sorely missed by us all xxx
