I've just got round to watching this and I was really disappointed. She didn't go for the high notes a lot of the time which I thought was strange considering she hasn't been around for a while and has a lot to prove. In general though, I just wasn't that impressed with her voice. She's known for having an incredible voice, but this didn't show it off. Also, there was no energy. She was walking around the stage trying to get the crowd going etc, but I just felt it didn't go down that well. I still think that she has issues with stage presence. When she was on tour a friend of mine had a spare ticket and so I went along and I thought exactly the same thing. She hit the high notes and her voice sounded fantastic (apart from her lower register), but I just felt that wasn't brilliant at commanding the stage. I really hope that her new material is good. I know a lot of people have been saying she needs to do some more up tempos and mid tempos, but I disagree. Ballads is her niche and when she gets them right she's fantastic. The issue with her previous work is that the ballads haven't been good enough. Stuff like Collide, Outta My Head, Forgive Me...they're just crappy bubblegum pop songs and it annoys me that fans try to say they're amazing when they're really not. She needs to stick to ballads but just make sure they are decent ones!!
