What creams/ ointments/ food etc are good for reducing the size of pores?? Mine seem to be huge right now and I don't want to invest in some really expensive cream if it doesn't work!

From what I've read there's not really a universal treatment that permanently changes the diameter of your pores, they just appear smaller when the gunk has come out. Products with salicylic acid might work.

The fab pore facial peel mask by soap and glory has helped to reduce mine. They're not teeny tiny now but they are greatly reduced, and it worked pretty quickly. It is £8 for the tub, but i've been using it twice a week since the 8th of may and have about half a tub left.

I've not heard of any treatments which actually reduce the size pores but I've heard of things that can disguise/minimise their appearance like BeneFit's Porefessional primer which is being given away with Glamour magazine at the moment so maybe spend £2 on that and see if it works for you rather than forking out for the full sized one?

I would recommend Alpha-H Liquid Gold. At £31.50, it certainly isn't cheap but it is a really good product and you don't use it everyday. I've been using it for 2-3 weeks and I've noticed my pores are a lot smaller plus it's helped other skin troubles I have been having.

Seconded, this product is bloody excellent, scarring, uneven skin all gone. I've been using for over a year; it's taken years off my skin.

Even if you don't go with it check out products with glycolic acid as they really do seem to work.

I use this

http://www.cheapsmells.com/search.php?q=retanew

It's one of the stronger Retinol based moisturisers & you are not advised to use it every day.

It's supposed to be for wrinkles, but my pores are smoothed to almost invisible on my cheeks, forehead & chin, the pores on the sides of my nose are still slightly visible.

Takes about 4-6 weeks to see the results properly.

I wouldn't use anything else now.
