Jessie J-We Found Love
I can't even listen to the original anymore because it is such crap compared to this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_X4pwCs28a0 |

I have to admit, Glee did the best covers with Somebody That I Used to know and I Wanna Dance With Somebody.

This would have to be mine too, 100%.
Guns'n'Roses - Knockin' On Heaven's Door would have to be there for me too, although I know a lot of people love the original too. [I'm not going to mention any of Westlife's songs, I don't want to be killed. .]

Glee - Without You
Completely different from the Usher/Guetta original. Really soulful, emotional take on the lyrics that makes complete sense and actually evokes feeling, unlike the original. Also Lea Michele's vocals are absolutely killer on this too. Probably Glee's best cover imo. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWnzBH1Ytew |

No, you ar right. In fact that is one of those songs that for various (some personal) reasons, I HATE the original but love the remixes and covers I have heard. Pink did a brilliant mash up of that and Get the party started on the cd single.

Word Up - Gun (originally Cameo)
Riders on the storm - Creed (The Doors.........I really like both though )I'll be there - Me First and The Gimme Gimmees (Jacko) It's gonna take some time - Dishwalla (Carpenters......from a Carpenters covers cd , If I was a Carpenter, that is brilliant) Could it be Magic - Donna Summer ( Manilow) |

Hallelujah is an absolute given in threads like this on account of the original being so dreadful, lol. I've heard many covers of the song (who hasn't??) and my vote goes to K D Lang.

I always try to remind myself that everybody is entitled to their own opinion. But to think that some people prefer Heather Morris's heavily auto-tuned vocals to one of the greatest female voices ever truly baffles me. But I suppose I shouldn't expect anything better from people who watch that tripe anyway.

Matt Beilis is another Youtuber who posts covers, and I must say I think his covers are brilliant. In particular, "E.T" is a great cover. There's just something about his gravelly, husky voice that makes him stand out somewhat.
