As long as they don't attempt to *sing* while they're at it, then good

Will they cut the evening short and use the same excuse that they did after their reunion tour - finishing early due to childcare commitments

Their 2007-2008 Reunion tour was originally 12 dates.

Due to demand in the USA and Europe it was extended to 47 dates.

I wouldn't call that cutting the tour short.

Where you're confused is that they originally announced that they were playing Australia, South America, Asia etc however due to unexpected demand in North America and Europe these dates were cancelled. They went with where there was highest demand and milked it dry.

Oh please. They knew exactly what was happening and they got paid handsomly. They just couldn't be arsed.

I think it was more Victoria who couldn't be arsed. The other four seemed, and still do, more than happy to carry on.

Wanna bet they'll use it as another opportunity to try shoehorn themselves into the Olympics?

VB's managed to completely reinvent herself and might think to get back with the Spice Girls in any capacity is a mistake.

I must admit when I see her in the papers now I never think of her as "a Spice Girl".

Well they should be anyway. The fact the Sugababes are over them is a disgrace to what the Spice Girls achieved.

It was nothing to do with Victoria or any of them 'not being arsed'

It just didn't make sense to take the tour elsewhere when they could make $100 Million in the US, Canada and Europe.

The only other territory where they could have made a lot of money was Australia but it didn't make financial sense to fly such a huge production across the globe for one country.
If there had been similar demand in Japan, China, South Africa and Australia then they would have extended the tour further but for whatever reason there just didn't seem to be the demand over there (other than Australia).

oh for gods sake why cant you miserable bleeders do something else instead of trying to ruin the excitement for the fans of the group..

you know.. the fans that helped them make the most successful girl group of all time.. ?!

I for one can't wait to see a picture of my five biggest inspirations standing side by side again.. five years is far too long!

I rarely hear their songs on the radio. Do you think their songs stand the test of time?

Exactly. I'm not their biggest fan (although I like them) but I don't get the hate they attract. It was harmless, fun pop music and there are muuh worse role models out there. If you don't like them, ignore them. It's not that difficult.

Start an appreciation thread then if you only want positivity. This is a discussion thread and every opinion is allowed, even those that - shock horror - don't agree with you

I bet they'll make a load of money if they do start the group up again. It might just be for one night though.

I am super excited especially now I know that Victoria will be attending.

Still the best group ever, in my opinion, and I cannot wait to see what them all together.
