The first one must have taken some doing, as its basically Jurrasic Park, with victorian technology. Its quite surreal watching these humans from the 1920's. When you think such a big deal was made of Steven Speilberg's films, this must have taken so much more effort!!

The second one, if you watch the first couple of minutes, the music is wonderful. Is it the original score?

Here is some notable points from the first film, The Lost World.

1) This is the best fighting scene I've ever seen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UXqL...ailpage#t=696s

2) How in thunder did they get this flying bird? Its amazing. No strings or CGI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UXqL...ilpage#t=1573s

3) With no planes, cars or mobile phones there is a genuine sense of terror when the tyrannosaurus (or allosaurus) appears. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UXqL...ilpage#t=2014s

4) How did they get a dinosaur on London bridge in this era of time? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UXqL...ilpage#t=3976s

If this movie was better known, Speilberg would be done for plagiarism. There is no daft teenagers shagging, or dragged out sex scenes. In some ways silent is better as there is no tedious scripts.

What are your thoughts? Should there be a silent movie channel? and would you go see a silent movie in the cinema? I have Nosferato (the original dracula) on DVD. Man its creepy

They could have made a model of London Bridge and used stop motion film to record the scenes.
