Old Pace HD Box HDD

I have an old Pace SKY HD box (model TSD850NB) and I'm wondering if it's possible to take the HDD out and use it for something else, i.e external drive for a comp ?. what tool do I need to take the casing off the box ?. Thanks

You just need a Torx driver for Pace boxes, although you can undo them with an allen key as well.

It's a standard PC drive - HD boxes use SATA drives, Sky+ use IDE - in either case you need to partition and format the drive from your PC.
