If you were to form a super band like they had in the 70s and 80s who would be in it?

Pretend that no musicians have ever died and choose anyone currently dead or alive

Mine would be -

Lead Vocals - Ronnie James Dio
Guitar - Rory Gallagher
Keyboards/organ/piano - Jon Lord
Bass - Glenn Hughes
Drums - John Bonham

I meant to post this weeks ago but totally forgot until now

Just cos you don't like this type of music doesn't mean it's not good bar rihanna they are true creative artists just cos the dont do rock/indie music doesn't mean they aren't musicians. Kanye is a gifted producer and well for frank just read the reviews if his mixtape! And well simply jay and bey rule the world!

Stop being such a music snob!

Rock walks all over Rap/Hip Hop though... it's just an image and has absolute eff all to do with the music.

MrMeatAndPotato,

I can't stand R n B & Hip Hop either, but Mrfenty is right.

Just because you don't like that type of music doesn't make Mrfenty's choices any less valid than yours.

I agree with you MrM, but you have to allow others to have their own tastes.

It's all down to personal choice and opinion, it may sound dumb but I just don't like the sound of rock music it's just out of tune wailing and guitars to me but I can recognise talent! Hip hop is the same, unfortunately there are people who are all about the image and give it a bad name ie Pitbull and Flo Rida but you can't say people like Kanye, Jay , Nas, Biggie, frank, Drake , Eminem etc know "eff all about music!"

I hate the idea of Supergroups.

A horrible 70's/80's type of thing.

Journey?, Asia? Slash's Snakepit?

Ego driven bands with little to offer, the 60's did it far better
