I could have sworn I heard 'Hell's Kitchen, coming soon to ITV1' on TV today. It can't be the Marco Pierre White thing as that's already started.

Does anyone know if it is indeed coming back - and who's in the line-up?!!

I'm sure the celeb based British one was cancelled a few years ago, but I know the American one, which features members of the general public and is vastly better, is still on the go.

Fantastic. I know its heavily edited and scripted but it is just great to watch and switch off the mind.

If you have virgin media they have season one of uk hells kitchin with Gordon Ramsay on demand, when his anger was real. Looking back at how passionate he was back then (2003 i think) compared to all his US Stuff, like when Angus tried to talk to him he was always to busy or having a go at someone like Marco who always had time for a chat

Already series linked it!
I do love this show, despite the fact that it's the same old thing every series, just different contestants.

I remember watching Boiling Point where he said he would never be a celebrity/tv chef and look down on and derided those chef, the likes of which were on Ready Steady Cook.

Just look at it now, many of the chefs that do tv work do pretty much serious cooking and not partly scripted OTT reality tv.

I've series linked it already as well, but I've found in the past couple of series, i've watched the first half with the challenge then just skipped the service part to see who's eliminated.

The service is just the same thing week after week. they try and make the food, ramsey hates it, shouts and sends it back. repeat until fade ..

I did check and the British zeleb one was cancelled in 2009 due to falling ratings, so it's the American general public one.

By 'American general public' this means three or four people that can actually cook and a collection of general incompetents cast primarily to create confrontation .

By the way, there are two episodes next week on Monday and Tuesday and according to the episode description of the second one, we have an amazing original challenge:

SPOILER BELOW...

They cook scallops
