Ok, I know we have Dannii & Kylie, but really. Check these out. Its not fair we get so much 1 Direction etc and other artists fall by the way side.

Is that Reece Mastin the lad who won XFactor Australia ? Isn't he British? Or am I completely thinking of someone else?

We took Rolf Harris. We took Men At Work. We took Kylie. We took Jason Donovan. We took Craig McLachlan. We took Crowded House. We took Imbruglia too.
Then you gave us Peter Andre. We forgave you. It took some time, but the sin was forgiven. We let Kylie come back. When you gave us The Vines, Wolfmother and The Datsuns, we thought we'd resolved the issue entirely. Then you gave us Peter Andre. AGAIN. Then more recently you tried to give us The Veronicas and Gotye. Thanks for the offer but we know where this leads to if we show too much interest ever again. We'll give you one hit wonders but no more. |

Ladyhawke can tour here successfully, I think that's a fair enough compromise given the Andre burden.

The Cat Empire are one of the most amazing live bands I've ever heard (seeing them for a third time in December), they've been going 10 years but are still unknown over here. Such a unique infectious mix of funk, ska, latino and dance.

There's a girl who came 4th in Australia's The Voice, she is amazing and if she was on say our version of X-Factor could easily be huge: www.youtube.com/watch?v=aLguDFOzc3I www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBz45SEdoYM Quote:

Agree with the sentiments here ...
The Cat Empire are a really good listen and i also believe that 80s sounding gang are all from Aus too such as Cut Copy. Cold Cave and the Bag Raiders and i guess many more. And one must mention the Go-Betweens, the Church, Hunters and Collectors, Split Endz and the Living End Great stuff - as was Two Little Boys |

I am quite sure the NZ and Australian markets crossover more than the UK/Aus markets. She's from that territory regionally in terms of business and distribution. Half of Crowded House are NZers but they are for all intents and purposes an Aus. band.
