Misha B Interview with @That Grape Juice - Home Run Acoustic Performance!

This interview told us ALOT about what Misha B has been upto, along with producers on her album, US Release of the record, and how she would describe her album. Also we get to see how her voice has improved since her X Factor days with the first performance of Home Run before the promotional campaign.

Seriously? Another Mischa thread? I don't follow any XF contestant closely apart from Aiden, but if I posted a new thread every time he did a new online interview/acoustic performance/magazine excerpt, I would be accused of spamming the forum, and I'm sure that the majority of fans of XF acts currently releasing music would say the same.

You only need to look at how quickly these Mischa threads are dropping off the front page - and half of the comments are usually people who are questioning why there's another Mischa thread - to know that there's not enough sustained interest in here to keep each thread going. If you combine it into one thread, you might actually get a quality of discussion going.

For god's sake, do we need a Misha B thread a day? Just put them all in one thread, like I suggested about 10 misha b threads ago and elly has suggested just now. Agree with all of elly's post.

They are VERY easy to avoid. Do you have nothing else better to do?

The point isn't that they're easy to avoid. It's that if everyone started doing this for their favourite XF contestant, the forum would be littered with half-started threads that barely anyone comments on, and that isn't good for any forum. In fact, it's basic forum etiquette. It's not that people begrudge you talking about Misha, it's just that it would be so much more productive if you were to keep discussion about her debut single to one thread. I don't know why some Misha fans are so defensive about this.

During the interview the interviewer mentioned Relentless Records. So I assume she's on a joint deal with RCA?

With decent promo - tv performances near to the release/radio airplay, this should do well.

ETA: Looks like she is. They have tweeted about her single

Actually, I have to disagree with this. Making these threads allow for the X Factor forum to stay on the main page, unlike the others; BGT & The Apprentice which have already been taken off. Besides, I personally don't mind a thread for each bit of news, I'd rather that then have to sift through a large thread filled with general discussion for something about Misha rather than information regarding her career.

I would love it if everybody posted about their favourites! It's just a shame that majority of the contestants don't do much afterwards; leaving nothing to post about unfortunately. Perhaps if each thread got a little less attention, then forum members may stop posting individual threads. However this clearly isn't the case. Then you speak about defensiveness, but I would say you're being just as offensive as others are being defensive.

'Basic forum etiquette'... I have no comment.

I loved the acoustic performance, thought her vocals were excellent and enjoyed the different take on the song! It's nice to see she has fans like Rebecca, too.

Thank you Santanel!! I really don't get why there is such an issue about so many threads been made about an artist...it's not about spamming the forum at all, it about keeping folks informed about new info on a particular artist...folks who dont always get the info 1st hand like myself....I don't see no harm in it at all.....and what gets me upset is that it always the same FMs having a go about it!! (It happens on other forums I have joined, no harm done there)!!
Forgot that using the word 'hate' is against forum rules, I will apologise for offending folk in that respect...I will not be made to feel guilty for starting threads about a particular artist I happen to love listening too!! No one else should feel guilty either....its nothing personal!!
