Skyrim
Well, I just got this PS3 game, enjoy the opening, and the quests, as with Golden Claw, that puzzle clues to the door is great!
Now on quest to fight off that Dragon... so far I enjoy it! |

I started again a few weeks ago. This time I'm focusing on my skills, I just made myself some dragon armour and now I'm nearly ready to enchant it. The only thing I don't like is how hard it is to kill a dragon as a melee character. With my first character it only took 5 or 6 shots with my bow to kill it but in the towns they don't seem to land, they just go on the rooftops where I can't hit them with my sword.

Just get it out of the sky with ranged, then get in close and personal. Later on, I would give Staffs to my follower, they were much better at ranged shots than me, I would just wait till the Dragon landed. |

Genrally if i have to face a dragon on my own I try to find other people around (Imperial army or bandits, whatever) and hang back whilst they deal with it and then go in for the killer blows when it gets brought down. You will gain a handy shout later in the game if your following the main questline.

At least you get some warning before they attack.

I think I have forgotten enough of the Wiki searching I used to do so that I can now have to wander aimlessly again. Sure, I will know the main quests, but I no longer know to hunt for the magic X in Y before going to Z.
Now... to find my disk again, since daughters boyfriend took it out to play Deadspace. He better find it, or he will take an arrow to the knee. |

Goaty, there are a couple Skyrim general threads on DS. These are full of some useful tips and tricks. Maybe the mods could merge this into part 2? |

Lol, I've just started my..3rd play through from scratch ..and I see this thread
![]() I had started to get bored so I left the game for a few months...I seem to be enjoying it much more than before for some reason. Maybe its because I have a basic idea on what I'm doing now ![]() The patches(PS3) certainly have stabilised the bad lag I got before as well. |

One Trophy away from getting Platinum on PS3. However think its Glitched and unobtainable.
Trying to get the Oblivion Walker Trophy, in my main save I have done the 15 quests, got the 15 items in my inventory but the game is only showing as having me completed 14 in my stats screen. Started a new save file, and after escpaing Helgen at the start, in my stat screen it shows -2 as a value for Completed Daedric Quests. So again looks like I can't get the achievement on this save. |

I've been going through Skyrim gradually
Put it on the shelf for a few months but have been going non stop since I picked it back up Up to Level 24 and am Arch Mage of the College Normal and Blood Dragons are quite easy once you get the hang of killing them It's just the Frost dragons you have to watch out for as they are more stronger and more vicious and will chomp down your character if one gets too close |
