There definitely has to be new writers or producer. That or the production team have lost their minds. I am sorry but Garry suddenly being Mr Nice Guy, and so sensitive is just ridiculous. First you have a scene with him basically playing happy families with Dani and Gwern. Then you have him hugging and comforting Yvonne at the hospital This is the man who a few months back was persecuting and bullying one of the women and put the other one in prison for somethings she didn't do. But now he cares about them? Seriously, PYC seriously? The writers are really laying the redemption storyline on thick, obviously as a way to make him out to be some upstanding citizen for the inevitable custody fight. It is so forced it's unbelievable.

And can the writers be a bit kinder to poor Yvonne, the woman is on the verge of a break down carrying all the Gwyneth stuff. Yet they show Jinx telling her he doesn't want to know about the situation and walking away from her in the hospital. And Colin ignoring her banging on his door so he can wallow in self-pity. He then sods off on some trip without even noticing a ambulance at been at his sisters house next door, or checking to see why she was banging at his door earlier.

Another seeming rewrite is Gaynor and Hywel. She's blaming him for her having an affair and then she's saying how you can't forgive an affair. Suddenly she thinks her and Hywel are ruined because she had an affair which is the opposite to what she was saying a few months ago, when she forgave the Ffion thing. Finally Hywel thinks asking her to marry him is a good idea.

The episode was just completely unbelievable in parts. The only part that made sense was Gwyneth's reaction to waking up, and Yvonne's guilt. The rest was a complete rewrite of history or ridiculous.

I am finding some of the writing and storylines awful atm. They seem all over the place, a lot of it isn't making sense or feels forced and rushed.

I guess Gaynor thought she had nothing to feel guilty about so told Hywel to kind of hurt him. She blamed him for it, and didn't seem to feel weird over Izzy or feel guilty over Sioned. I swear for most of the scenes in this episode I sat there with these expressions on my face

I don't understand why the writers have made Macs seem like the bad guy again after cheating with Gaynor. I'm hoping there's unfinished business with the rape storyline - again it seems to have just been forgotten about in the writing for him.

Sez, I have no clue why quite a few of the characters are acting the way they are right now. It's like pod people in some cases.

I am wondering if they have dropped the potential Garry/Angela affair now they've morphed him into Mr Nice Guy in the last couple of weeks. I have a horrible feeling the writers are trying to push Dani and Garry as a romance.

In the episode a couple of days ago, When Garry picked up Gwern, the boy who plays Gwern started crying.
Does anyone know when that happens, they have to do another take when the child has settled down

I wonder if the liver damage Gwyneth got from the overdose will repair itself or it will cause problems in the future she could die from.

How ironic that it looks like Sioned may end up being a good influence on Gemma. Now she's working for Sioned she might settle down and stop stealing, well once she's caught. Sioned seems to like her, so I guess that friendship will grow as neither have any other friend options in the late teens/early 20's range.

You can also tell she does feel guilty over people thinking Colin stole the charity money. Not enough to confess, but she was glad he was okay today when he went walkabout.

I'm not sure about Wales. But I know villages do tend to have a lot of named houses. That much is a tradition.

Why are the writers resurrecting the Debbie/Kevin affair? what was the point of her being broken hearted a few weeks ago for her just to turn and start a second secret affair with him. One he wants no-one to know about. I see a second broken heart coming her way.

Good scenes between Gwyneth and Yvonne. I am glad Yvonne got out her anger and she explained why she'd written the letters. Good acting from both women. You can really feel the love and anguish going on between them. I think prehaps Gwyneth dying of liver problems would be the best solution to this. Though not before confessing to Dani, Britt and Gary and showing loads of remorse. Her going to prison is too easy an out to the storyline. And we know PYC doesn't like prison
