Absolutely *loved* the Colin Gaynor episode. It's exactly how ex's behave when there's too much wine and too much emotion involved. The whole "I love you/ I hate you" thing was spot on! Excellent episode.

I don't hate Gaynor and I don't feel sorry for Hywel. I think they both deserved everything they got from their ex's at the reception-from-hell. But they are seriously flawed people and the come-upance will come. I'm really hoping for a Colin/Anita reunion (though I think he could do better). He and Anita running Y Dorlan would be a good thing.

I feel a bit for Sioned (though she can be a right pain sometimes). Macs is definitely bonkers at the moment. I think I'd like to see Ffion and Jinx give it a go (though it will all end in tears - we know).

All in all - an amazing week.

Anyone else having trouble believing the latest twist in the fire storyline? The whole thing makes less and less sense.

Wavlovr you are not missing anything. I assume we are now to believe Gethin was somehow watching Gwyneth setting the fire. This makes no sense, since I think he would have phoned the fire department anonymously at least. Am I wrong or wasn't Dani just out walking Brandi? So how did Gethin know Dani wouldn't walk back into the flat?

You`re right - it makes no sense whatsoever. If Gethin knew about Gwyneth setting the fire, then why didn`t he tell Dani immediately??. He has seen her grieve for Brandon everyday - and he never said a word. Neither did he say anything at the police station when he was pulled in for investigation.
I am hoping that the writers have a trick up their sleeves that will explain everything. If they don`t then this storyline has been for nothing!
Part of me was hoping that it was Gethin who started the fire. For the only reason he`d be sent to jail so we`d never have to see his peach fuzzed face anymore.

The only things I can think of are Gethin was committing some sort of crime, or he was trying to hide he was married. Neither of which makes much sense. The whole Gethin adultry thing why is that a big deal to anyone but Sheryl? The police wouldn't care surely. Everyone in Cwm Deri cheats the last two weeks perfect example.

Crime, OK Gethin could be comitting a crime but one worse than murder? Something so bad he would pretend even to Dani and Gwyneth nothing was wrong?

I just wish Brandon was still alive this storyline is a waste.

Absolutely right sderr. Killing off Brandon and Denzil was a huge mistake. They were two of my fave characters.
I still maintain that they should have had Huw White and his yob friends as the fire starters. Especially as Huw hasn`t been seen in ages.
Losing Gwyneth as a character wouldn`t have been that great a deal either. It would have been wonderful to see Yvonne and Garry share custody...as well as the Whites. And now with Yvonne on maternity leave, they could have had Yvonne disappearing with Gwern for a few months.
What a wasted opportunity for the writers.

Maybe its going to turn out that it is Gethin and not Gwyneth who is to blame for Brandon death. What I mean is Gwyneth did start a fire but it went out and then Gethin started another one which did spread to the flat.

I suppose that could be it would make sense. But 2 weeks ago they introduced some new stuff with Gethin, losing his home. After that conversation with Kevin Sheryl doesn't look sympathetic at all. And then of course there is Moc and Gethin is angry at him again. So is are Moc and Sheryl going to get to get a comeuppance? They deserve one. I was really disapointed they didn't get caught Monday. How would that all get resolved in a few weeks when Yvonne leaves. I think the fire story will reach a climax then. How many charecters would actually go? Not 3 at once?

There is always far too much going on with this Gethin charecter in my opinion. Nothing he does ever makes much sense.

Just watching last Friday's episode. I'm really hoping the way Macs is behaving is to do with his state of mind from the past year and not a brand new plot line!

To me looks like Macs has some sort of mental health issue the way he was acting. He thinks he is in love with Gaynor. Which is weird since they have nothing in common but Izzy and rape. Also Gaynor doesn't have feelings for him you could tell.

Wavlovr Debbie's daughter is Vicky. Yes I would love Liam back. Also Rhys, Lois and Huw. More storylines at the school please. More of the charecter driven episodes like the ones we just had with Miec and Dai and Gaynor and Colin.

I think there is great potential for some really good drama there. I hope we get some.

Did anyone see Donna Edwards (Britt) on "3 Lle"? There were no english sub-titles so I missed a *lot* but understood a suprising amount too. 3 Lle is a show where celebrities go to three places that are special to them and talk about their memories. Very lovely show. Catch it if you want to learn some of Donna's life story
