Yeah he does. Cadno has not had an interesting storyline in the last 2 years. So it will be interesting to see how it plays out. Will she get a new love interest to help run the farm?

They're obviously not planning on giving her a girlfriend so she's back to being conveniently bisexual. It's one thing I've never liked about PYC the way they mess with her sexuality on a whim. I'd prefer she went to prison and Yvonne was brought back with a new lover. Them even hinting they could put her with Colin is sickening and unbelievable. Gwyneth, Angela, Eifion, Garry, Mac and Moc are all characters who should get their comeuppance and be axed. Too many villains in Cwm Deri these days. I love the show but it's getting over run with nasty characters. The ones I've listed are only about half of them, but they're the worst. It's more bad than good in the village.

I started a thread not so long ago asking if Pobol Y Cwm should be mainstream and a lot of people said no.

If you don't want to read subtitles then don't watch. People are lazy, everything needs to be spoon feed to them. There are a lot of people who contribute to the thread. Don't hijack this thread if you want to complain.

I think if you are expecting more than half the cast to be axed then you are going to wait along time. It would no longer be the same show. I am sorry but the "nice" storylines are boring. Eileen- Jim nothing ever happens. Kevin only is there to serve tea. Cando and Eifion were never interesting until he got nasty. The wind turbine thing that went on for months was extremely dull. If I only had a show of those "nice" characters I would not watch it- there is no conflict. A drama has to have conflict to be interesting.

That`s why I love PYC and I put it head and shoulders above any other soap....even my beloved Corrie. It`s because it`s so different compared to other soaps is the reason why I love it so much..
PYC has a lot of flawed characters....and even the most hateful characters can be redeemed with the proper writing.....Garry and Sioned for example. Although I hope Moc never gets redeemed - he really is evil, and deserves to be put in jail.

Absolutely PYC takes creative chances. I loved this weeks strange episode with Cadno/Eifion/Sioned and Macs/Sion. It was very strange but also quite creative. Really different and I don't think another soap would have done an episode like that.

re: flawed characters....no one is more flawed than Iolo lately. Sweet kind Iolo who would give you the shirt off his back is now flawed and I don`t know if he will ever be the same again with him being so weighed down so much in guilt. And all because of a few seconds lapse of judgement lives have been changed forever.

I could have sworn that in his interrogation by DCI Wiliams about a month ago, Moc told her 'it wasn't the boy' but then realised he was giving the game away impling it was Dani who he abused but the detective still released him afterwards.

Didn't you read anything? I was standing up for the show but I was getting badly slated. I was asking why the soap was not classed as a main soap with all the others. You must have noticed it does not get a mention in soap magazines etc.

I am not lazy and I do occasionally watch it when I get a chance and I need the subtitles because I can't speak Welsh.

I am sorry, you responded to something I posted well over 6 months ago and to me it sounded like you wanted to inform me that I was wrong, based on the results of your thread. 99 pages after I made the first post. Your thread was not started recently either, so your timing seemed very odd to me.

PYC is not considered a mainstream soap because it is not in English. That is the conclusion I came to from the thread you started. Many people here did respond to you btw. I didn't see it until it had been up for a week. I didn't feel like getting involved in arguing since it didn't seem like anyone's mind was changed.

It would be perfect if Yvonne came back with a new lover in tow. That would really put Gwyneths nose out of joint. And knowing that Gwyneth is the arsonist, Yvonne could make Gwyneth sweat for a while.
And if there is a return for Yvonne, then I hope there are other past characters who returns too.... Norman, Griffiths(with or without his grandaughter Indeg), Debi`s son Liam and her daughter whose name I think is Vicki.

I found the acting of Cadno and Eifion extremely unreal and dodgy last week.
These two have got to go, terrible to watch.

Yeah Alex Harries is in Gwaith/Cartref. He plays an artist and the love interest of Sara (my fav. character) an art teacher.
You asked about that show before. If you were ever interested in Gwaith/Cartref season one and two are available on Golyg. So if anyone is member or wants to become a member and wants to watch now is the perfect time to start. I watched the first two seasons over a couple of weekends which is not a bad way to watch.

Yeah he is good, he was very good as Scott as well. Didn't see last night's, well you know I had family over. So I am looking forward to seeing the episode.
