Here is a little melody wot I wrote ( true ..it's my own ) Billy , this is a bit longer . It's more of a doodle on piano to be honest .I recorded this a few years ago . I called it ' Ballade' . Just a gentle song to begin the day .

I realise it should depend on what make of printer I am using asking people if they know how to print on 6x4 photo cards on a home printer but I would have thought it's pretty across the board with any of these modern printers how you print on these cards if you can see what I mean Dach.
I know the exact correct spot in the printer tray to place the 6x4 cards, I know to set the paper setting to 6x4, to set the type of paper to glossy paper, on best print and in portrait setting, I think I have got it all set up right, can see nothing else I can alter, I try it a dozen to twenty times and the cards goes through the printer and lands in the out tray completely blank.

The boy is no waster I'm starting to wonder if he really knows how good he is with his musical ability, it's a rare talent to be able to do what he's doing. I mean you take 100 people at random on the streets and ask them if they can play musical instruments as good as Andy can or even at all and I would bet in nearly every case the answer would be no, you'd have to search and search until you found someone.

Tis a total pleasure to be able to access and play these links and we thank you Andy.

Keep going dach tis law of averages one of your predictions will come up trumps eventually ... I ended up watching the second half of extra time and the penalties of the Spain v Portugal game and I'm glad I only saw that much if the commentators are right what they were saying about the rest of the match.
Ronaldo is a truly great player the second best in the world after Messi probably but he's such a swankhead it's almost unbelievable so last night I was happy to see the Spanish go through, I also think Spain will be a bigger test for the Germans in the final should they get to it.
I was sat there watching that last 15 minutes of the game looking at the Spanish players spraying the ball around the pitch like the Harlem Globetrotters used to do in their heyday and thinking I wonder if the England squad now back home in the UK are all watching this game and finally realising THAT is what being a world class footballer is all about, 100% ability and talent, not running around at 100mph like a headless chicken but I'd guess they weren't and more likely they were all sat still cursing their bad luck and blaming everything else.

Rant over.

I needed to let the frustration all out.

That's a lovely thing to say Peter and I think you're absolutely right - Andy is very talented......he just doesn't appreciate how good he is!! Well, we'll just have to keep telling him won't we Pete?

......and to think that everyone thought our last match was dull! Spain/Portugal was definitely worse! Snoozeworthy rather than newsworthy, to say the least Pete! As for England, I do understand exactly where you're coming from regarding the headless chickens act but I do think the journo. (forgotten his name) who was on with Brazil this morning got it spot on in his summing up. He said that Roy's got the squad - in a very short space of time - working together as a team and what's even better - getting on with each other and I think that`was just so obvious from the demeanour of Steven Gerrard shortly after he was appointed captain....and certainly the first time he spoke to the press!! I really thought that I'd never seen him looking so relaxed and happy. However, he also said that as soon as we got possession of the ball and were faced with an opponent it seemed as if total panic set in and the ball was just fumbled away to wherever! Just as if they were burning their feet on a hot potato....'must get rid of it at all costs', sort of scenario. In other words (I concluded, anyway) we've either lost the art (temporarily, I hope) or we've never had it anyway - of taking our time and getting used to KNOWING where certain team-mates are going to be without having to 'throw a wobbly', kick the ball blindly in the air and only then look round to see where your team-mates are. If Roy can carry on instilling formation into them - regardless what` shape that takes - then taking their time when in possession must surely follow naturally - wouldn't you say Pete?

Message Andy, Pete....... I'm sure he won't mind in the slightest and he can only say 'yes' he knows what's wrong or 'no' he hasn't a clue...

Hey all, Firstly , thanks for the piano compliments you two lol . Yes, I did compose that little tune but only in my head .I can't write or read music at all and that tune is a simple running up and down of the white keys ..it's not as elaborate as it sounds ..don't be impressed .

Billy , I can't think of what your problem might be . If you have loaded the paper in correctly , then went to the picture on screen , did all the necessary telling the program what you are printing ( what size..6 x4 ..what paper ..glossy ..etc ) then I can't see why it won't print . Have you tried loading a full size A4 sheet and telling it to print a small 6 x4 ..? It means you may lose a lot of paper but if it's just a one off ?? Is the printer whirring as it receives a command , is there a paper loading jam/ problem ? Does it print the picture on standard plain paper ?..You could try loading the software again . Are you using the software that comes with the printer , or windows own built in software , ( which just does a simple print with no editing etc options) .. I'd need to know more details . I often have printer problems too , especially with photos . I actually gave up and use a Klick branch now .It works out cheaper .I only use a printer for the odd document or songsheet myself .. Get back to me

1972? .. intriguing.

I think that has given me an idea for a subject to bring up for us to discuss, I'll save it for now but it will be back.
