Where is Apple losing market share?

Apple's tablet market share went up in the last quarter.

Apple's smartphone market share went up in the last quarter.

I do agree that the patent suits are ridiculous, though. They should *all* stop it and let consumers decide, not judges and lawyers.
Compared to Android, they are struggling to keep hold of their share. They'll lose the market share they gained when the next quarter results are released following the GS3 and One series sales, plus other new devices which are picking up speed.

Comparing market share with specific models is one thing, but take into account all the Android models is another thing entirely.

Yup, Apple are doing quite nicely.
Like any company they serve their owners, the shareholders the best they see fit.

I don't see how the Spotlight index comes into the Nexus ban, but most of the media cannot quite fathom why, what and where.

If the US judgement goes a similar way, it will teach them both a lesson, and maybe we can get back to a race to innovate and make the best products, rather than a race to acquire patents and sue each other in as many countries as possible.
